I'm going to teach you how to play this song called Best Day Ever by Mac Miller.
This is a very nice instrumental motive that goes like this, okay?

Okay, let's get right into it.
It's a very pretty instrumental [C#m] motive.
Okay, let's break it [G] up to two parts to learn it so it's easier.
Here we go.
[C#] First part, it goes like this.
Starting on the B up here, middle C, go up an octave C,
go up to the B, that's where we start on.
It goes two B's, [F#] two A's, down to F sharp, [C#] E, E, and then up [Dm] to B, A, A, [C#] F sharp, E, E,
and that's it for the first part for the right hand.
One more time for this first part for the right hand.
So it goes B, [F#m] B, A, A, [C#] F sharp, E, E, [C#m] B, A, A, F sharp, [Em] E, E.
That's the pretty easy first part.
Once you get the right hand there, left hand, two chords here.
The two chords are, well, we have a four note chord for the first chord.
That's F sharp minor [F#m] 7.
It's F sharp, A, [A] C sharp, E.
_ Second chord is second inversion of A major, which is a three note chord.
It's E, A, C sharp.
Okay, so those two chords in mind.
So F sharp [F#m] minor 7, followed by [A] second inversion of A major.
Two hands together, it goes like [C#m] this.
Right hand starts, _ [F#m] second A and the F sharp minor 7 together.
_ _ [A] _ _
_ _ Second A and the next chord together. _ _ _
Like that.
That is the first part.
[Em] One more time like this. _
[F#m] _ _ _ [A] _ _ _ Together, together, _ _ like that.
Okay, now moving on [B] to the second part.
Right [C#] hand continues up to the two B's, two A's, down to [Em] F sharp, E, E,
and then up to B, [B] B, down to E, [Dm] E, F [E] sharp, E, E.
And that's it for the second part for the right hand.
Pretty easy.
One more time.
It goes like this.
Two B's, two [E] A's, _ [C#] F sharp, E, E, up to B, B, E, E, F sharp, E, E.
[F#] And that is the right hand for this second part.
Once you get that right hand there, left hand, two chords, two of the same chords,
two D major [D] 7 chords.
It's a four note chord.
D, F sharp, A, C sharp.
So we have two of these D major 7 chords.
Okay, so with that in [C#] mind, two hands together, it goes like this.
Right hand starts off, _ [D] second A and D major 7 together. _

_ _ And that's it.
Okay, yeah, one more time.
[F#] Let's play the second part again.
