and in today's lesson, I'm going to teach you
how to play this song called
Falling Down by Lil Peep and XXXTentacion.
So here we go.
Give you a preview of the awesome repeating motif
that plays throughout the song.
Goes like this.

_ You repeat that, okay?
[C] _ _ _ [Am] _
_ _ _ _ [Em] _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [C] _ _ _ _ [Am] _
_ _ _ _ [E] _ [Em] _ _ _
_ _ [E] _ [C] _ _ _ [Am] Alright, _ _ _ [Em] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ let's get right into it.
So here we go.
Not difficult at all.
Melody and chords is the way to go
because from that, you can do a lot of variations
to [C#] it, so here we go.
Here we go.
Right hand starts on the C here, okay?
Middle C's here for reference.
[Cm] Go an octave to the C, so it goes C,
_ [G] D,
_ [Am]
[B] C, B,
_ [Dm] A,
_ [E] E,
[B] _ [C] A, [G] G,
[E] down to E,
and that's it for the right hand for this section,
and that's pretty much it.
Okay, one more [Cm] time for this right hand as it goes.
_ C,
[D] D,
[F] [Bm] C,
E,
[Am] _ _ [Dm] _ _ _ [A] [Em] A, G,
down to E.
_ That's it for the right hand for this section, okay?
Once you get that right hand there,
left hand we have four chords here, okay?
The four chord [C] sequence are C major, which is C, E, G.
_ Second chord is [Am] A minor, which is A, C, E.
_ And then the third and the fourth chord
are both E [Em] minor chords, which is E, G, B.
So two of them as well. _
Alright?
So yeah, with these [C] four chords in mind,
so C major, [Am] A [Em] minor, and E minor twice.
The two hands together goes like this.
So C and [C] C major together, so it's together.
_ _ _ _ [Am]
After A, A minor by itself.
_ _ _ [C] _ _
After E, [Em] E minor by itself.
Two, three, four.
Here, two, three.
Fine, and repeat [C] that.
Together.
_ _ _ _ [Am] _ Here. _
_ _ _ [Em] Here, two, three, four.
Here, two, three, four.
Yeah.
Notice that like there is a lot of gap
after the E minor played twice, okay?
So you can do kind of improvise on that, okay?
After that.
Every part of that end of the phrase,
[A] you can just like add some decorations and stuff.
But anyway, yeah, that's pretty much it.
So after you have the melody and chords right,
and also all the rhythm correct,
then you can start adding other like
left hand improvisational patterns and decorations,
harmonization of the right hand
to make it sound bigger and more awesome, okay?
Well, it's personal preference.
If you want to make it more awesome, you can.
If you want to make it calm, you can.
So there's all these different
accompaniment patterns that you can do.
But anyway, left hand you can do octave
and arpeggio patterns, right hand you can [C] harmonize.
You can do something like this, so.

[Em] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [C] _ _ _ _ [Am] _ _ _
_ _ _ [Em] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [C] _ _ _ _ [Am] _

_ [Am] _ _ _ _ _ [Em] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ Yeah, play around with it, okay?
It's pretty fun, okay?
But [N] anyways, yeah, so the chords are not difficult,
so it's not that hard to improvise on it.
