by only knowing the first one.
We're in the key of A major and first we're going to play
F sharp minor 9.

_ That's [F#m] C sharp, F sharp and A on my left hand, [C#m] C sharp, E and then G sharp
on my right. _ _
Then I'm going to go down a whole step and play E minor [Bm] 9. _
_ _ B, E, G, B, D and
then F sharp. _ _ _ _
_ After that I'm going to play this.
[C#] _ [F#] _ _
_ _ That's D sharp 7, D sharp 9 sorry, with
a sharp [G#] 5.
_ [D#] _ _ D sharp, natural G and C sharp on my left hand, F [F#] sharp and B on my right.
_ _ And that's [D] my passing chord to go to D major 7. _ _ _
D, A, C sharp, F sharp and then A on top.
_ _ _ And then my [C#] passing chord to go back to F sharp minor 9 is going to be _ _ _ C sharp 7.
Right,
C sharp, G sharp, B and then natural F. _ _ _ _ _
So that's the chords progression and the voicings
for the first pattern.
So let's go through the chords again.
We have F sharp minor 9,
_ [C#m] _ _
E minor [Bm] 9, _ _ D sharp 9 with a sharp [F#] 5, _ _ _ _ going to [D] D major 7 _ _ _ and C sharp [C#] 7.

[C#] _ _ _ Now for the [D] details
of this pattern on D major 7, _ _ we're going to play this melody line.
_ _ _ _ Alright, so I'm
going to play [G] D and B on my left hand and then complete [A] by playing A with my fifth finger
on my right hand.
_ [D] Alright, so what after D major 7?
_ _ _ _ [A] _ _ Play D, B and A.
_ _ Then you have C
sharp [C#] 7 and you have this melody line. _

Alright, so first here you have a grace note from G
sharp to A.

_ _ _ _ Here I'm using my third finger and my fourth [D] finger.
_ Then I'm going back
to [G] G sharp, play F sharp, [F#] _ _
F natural, [Fm] _ F sharp again _ and G sharp [G#] again. _ _ _ _ _

Then _ I'm _ [C#] _ _ _

F sharp minor 9.
_ _ [F#] Now the second melody line I'm going to play after C sharp 7 is this. _ _

[F#m] _ Now I'm playing two notes at once.

G sharp and B with my thumb [E] and my third finger _ _ [G#] _ going to A and C sharp with my second and
