Start Jamming...
I'm going to try to teach you guys as quick as possible how to play Jump by Van Halen on the piano.
First you're going to find the bass part.
This is just played with one hand, you don't need any two stuff which a lot of times I like to.
You start, I don't know, it kind of depends on what keyboard or piano you have.
You're going to have two C's, an octave.
An octave, except that's going to be on your way lower, so it's going to be like down here.
You can't even see it in my shot.
That's going to be in the background while you're playing this, you don't need to focus on that now.
The sound effects for this thing, it's like brass ends and metallic sound.
Because I don't have jump brass on here.
Normally every other keyboard nowadays, this one is from the 80's, so that's why.
But every other keyboard nowadays I think has jump brass, which is actually what Eddie Van Halen used.
So, I'll just teach you quick.
It's three fingers the whole time.
Mine are other fingers, so it starts with [G] this.
[C] So one of those, one of those.
[A] [F]
[G]
[C]
[F]
[G]
The ending part is probably one of the more trickier ones.
That ending part is just, there's a space of two right here.
[C] And then it goes down these two spaces.
And then [G] now it's these two.
So I'm [F] not pushing on these two.
So we can just do that again quick.
[C]
[G] The beginning though, it's just
One, [C] two,
[F]
[G] four,
[C] five, [F] six, seven, [C] eight, [G] nine.
And [C] then in the background, you have your octave C, that's normally low.
So I'll just play this through it slow quick.
[F]
[C]
Now I'll do it full speed.
Mine, I can't show it as well because I have to play it.
[F] [G] [C] [F]
