Start Jamming...
Hello everyone, this is Kabanerko bringing you another lesson in African piano techniques.
Today I'll be going over a
few of the diminished chords
that I use in my African piano tutorials and how most advanced players
Combine them.
So I hope you guys enjoy this one again.

Hello everyone, this is Kabanerko
As I was saying in the [Ab] intro this lesson I'll be going over the diminished substitutions
Which you can use in worship songs
I'll try and put a link to the original video explaining the
Diminished secrets I used in my highlight playing.
Let's just play a Yap on sub progression
with the regular Yap on sub changes
[C] Okay, [Dm] [C]
[Dm] [C] [G] [C]
[Dm] [C] [Dm] [C]
[G] [C]
now I'm going to use my diminished approach to play that as well
[F] [C] [Dm] [E] [Dm] [G]
[D] [E] [Dm] [C]
[G] [C]
[F] [Dm] [C] [Dm]
[A] [Dm] [C]
[G] [F]
[C] So as I said in the other tutorial
[F] Anytime [C] I have a C7
What I do is substitute it for
C sharp diminished 7
This provides a lot of movement and a lot of ways for me to you know
Play in and out the changes.
So again in the key of C
I'm gonna go ahead and place just some highlife chords in the 2-5-1 progressions
with this diminished chord approach
[Dm] [C]
[Dm] [A] [Dm]
[C] [G] [C] [F]
[G] [C] [Dm]
[C] [Dm] Okay, [E]
[Dm] [Fm] [D] [C] [G]
[F] [C]
[Bb] [Dm] [C] [F]
[C] [G]
[C]
[Fm] and that is pretty much it again
