Heart's Anne Wilson says it will never be the same again with her sister Nancy.
I'm John Boden from RockHistoryMusic.com.
In a new interview with Billboard Magazine, the powerful lead voice of Heart [F#] gave a positive
spin or tried to [Em] sort of tell us that it's all kind of making sense in the long run about
this tiff with her sister Nancy.
In case you missed it, Anne's husband Dean Wetter was handed a suspended sentence in
April of this year for choking Nancy's twin boys, who were both 16 at the [C] time.
In April, [D] Nancy told Billboard Magazine that something of [Em] this magnitude in a tight family
was very scarring for everyone involved.
But at the time, she did say she had hoped that she would resolve everything with her sister.
So what are the girls doing now?
Anne is [E] touring and at the end of the tour in the fall, she's going to go into her home
studio and record those songs that she is currently writing.
She's also [Em] planning a documentary of this whole tour, which will include not just concert
footage but a lot of [D] her talking about her experience.
She's obviously doing a lot of Heart material in her tour, [E] as well as covers of Jimi Hendrix,
Yes, the Black Crowes, Peter Gabriel, [C] Elvis Presley, Aretha [D] Franklin, and a cool version
of Won't Get Fooled [B] Again by The Who, which [G] is going down [C] really well.
Nancy is working on her Roadcase Royale group with Prince [D] Protégé Liv Warfield on vocals.
[G] It also features three members [B] of Heart, Chris Joiner on keys, [Em] Dan Rothschild [C] on bass, and
Ben Smith on [D] the kit.
We'll have links to both [G] interviews with Anne and Nancy Wilson in the [C] description of this video [E] below.
Great interviews.
Billboard, always [D] top notch, of course.
Last time [E] we did a Heart video, we got a lot of [B]
response, kind of like the Eagles.
I [Em] have to say, everything was kind of tipping on the Nancy side, but no one really knows
what's going on.
Listen, when the dust settles, you don't hit kids.
You certainly don't grab kids by the neck.
[Bm]
I'm sure a lot of crap went down before that, and we don't know [E] the family secrets or [Em] whatever
the hell was going on, but you don't hit a kid.
[Bm]
That's the thing.
So I [Em] hope they can resolve things.
I hope they can understand [E]
each other's point of view and acknowledge [Em] where they kind of went wrong.
[Bm] That's for sure.
So [C] comment on our video, subscribe to our channel, and share [D] our videos.
We'd appreciate that.
There's also links to our [Bm] Twitter and our Facebooks [C] down below and all that stuff, as
well as links to Heart's website and [D] also Nancy's and Anne's [G] separate sites and stuff like that.
[B] Thanks for watching.
