[G] This tune I'm going to play here, it's called Ruben's Train.
It's essentially a tune from the Appalachian Mountains in the U.S.
I learned this when I was 17 from a friend of mine.
She was from Appalachia.
Her mother had taught it to her.
I sort of mixed that up with the raga.
I'm going to mix the two of them together right now when I play it on this instrument.

I ended up in India in 1979 [Eb] and I really liked it.
[D] I think I spent the last money I had on a sitar.
So in 1986 I moved back there and I stayed about 12 years in India.
[C]
The creator of this instrument, Vishwa [D] Mohan Bhatt, he took a six-string guitar and he
told me the sound of the six strings was a little lonely.
So he added another 14 strings which pretty much cured that loneliness problem.
He renamed the instrument the Mohan Veena.
Some people told me about this island and said it's full of [Eb] [D] artists and people, misfits
of [Dm] various social types.
I said that's my place.
I'll go there.
I ended up [Ab] here and [D] bought a piece of land originally and we turned that around and we
finally got ourselves a home.
