Handpan lessons - A new method to learn fast and have fun chords
Start Jamming...
Hi everyone, I hope you're having a good day.
Thank you so much for watching this video.
I'm so [F] excited, I read all your comments and I saw all your enthusiasm about this new handpan [Gm] training, handpan course [N] I'm about to release.
Thank you so much for your kind words.
I was saying in my previous video that this last two years I have tried to teach as many handpan players as I could,
but still I was receiving too many handpan lessons requests.
Our family, our community is growing a lot and there is more and more people who want to learn.
So I came up with the idea of doing online video, online course.
With online videos, you can really learn at your own pace.
Today, I'm going to tell you more about the course as a whole and I will show you the platform I will be using.
But before we [Gm] start, let me teach you a [D] little groovy pattern so that you can really see my method and how fast you will be able to [F#] learn.
[D]
[F#m] I will be filming [N] this way.
Look, with this way of filming, you can really see the whole instrument.
You don't have any hidden notes.
My right is on your right.
My left is on your left.
From above, you can really see exactly what I'm doing.
I will help you guys with some notification.
You have some visual aid with the time.
Of course, you will need to be familiar with all the symbols, but after a few exercises, you will really rock them, know them by heart, and you will learn really fast.
But let me tell you more about these symbols.
Whenever you have a red symbol, it means that you have to hit the instrument with your right.
Whenever it's a blue one, it means left.
This is a ding with a white circle in the middle.
[B] Right ding, left ding.
[N] This is a note.
You can play whichever note you want.
You don't have any instructions.
But whenever you have an arrow inside, it just tells you where to go.
For example, if you have two symbols like this, it means that you can pick up whichever note you want to start with.
But then, the next one has to be the next one while ascending the scale.
For example, if you [D] pick up that one to start with, the next [B] one has to be that one.
Since [D] when I ascend my [C] scale, this one is the next one after that one.
This is a tack.
[G#] Just slap the instrument on the side.
This is a ghost note.
For example, this.
[D#] In between your two notes, you keep alternating your hands.
So you have notes, nothing notes.
That was a ghost [N] note.
Okay, I have a black point in the middle.
It helps you just know where the middle is.
Okay, with me really slowly, let's read the first half of this pattern.
1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and [F#m] 1 and 2 and [Bm] 3 and 4 [D#] and again 1 and [D] 2 and 3 and 4 and 1 and 2 and 3 [G#m] and 4 [F#m] and 1.
[G#] Now you mastered that, let's move on to the second part.
1 and 2 and 3 [B] and 4 and 1 [D#] and 2 [G] and 3 [F#m] and 4 and 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and.
[C#] You don't have any arrows, so you can pick up whichever note you want.
3 and 4 and 1 and 2 [Bm] and 3 [F#m] and 4 and 1 and 2 [F#m] and 3 and 4 and 1 and 2 [F#] [F#m] and 3 and 4 and 1 and [F#] 2 and [F#m] 3 and 4 [D] and 1.
Now let's do the whole pattern.
[B] 3 and 4 [D#m] and 1
[D] and 2 and 3 [F#m] and 4 and 1 and 2 [D] and 3 and [B] 4 and 1 and 2 [F#m] and 3 and 4 and 1.
Let's [F#] speedup a little bit.
1 and 2 and 3 and [Bm] 4 [F#m] and
[Bm]
[F#m] [F#]
[F#m] [F#]
[D] [G] I didn't count so that you can [D#] really hear the pattern.
[D#m] 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 [D]
and
[F#] [F#m] [F#]
[F#m] [D]
[Bm] [D]
[D] [Bm] [G] But let's go back to the point.
Who is this training, who is [F] this course for?
Here is the [G] people that I had in mind while creating this course.
People who are struggling with patterns, how to build up a [N] pattern, people who don't have
any percussion background, people who want to apply some grooves with melodies, people
who want to understand their chords, people who have a hard time with regularity, staying
on the beat or even counting, people who have a hard time with their weak hand, people who
are struggling with coordination, with hand independence.
In short, people who want to learn, people who are stuck in their playing and who want
to go further.
Let's have a look at the platform now.
So, here is the platform, which is really good looking.
Here is your course.
And then you have all the sections with all the exercises I've created for you.
Some rhythms plus melody, variation, 1, 2, another rhythm.
This section is for grooves, melodies and build up patterns, how to build up a pattern.
So, for example, you want to work on a warm-up exercise to start with, you just click on the exercise.
Sorry, it's a little bit slow.
And you have your video here.
You can leave a comment and I'll be here also to answer you.
Then you want to move on to coordination, independence, right and left exercise.
You have your video and so on.
If I ever want you to download a PDF because it's ever needed for an exercise or a sound
or a metronome or whatever, you will have a link right here to [F] be able to download it.
So, you can really see how much percent you have complete.
So, you know where you are.
Right here, you have a
There you go.
Everything is here.
This new way of learning handpan will [Gm] help you a lot to develop all your skills, rhythmical and melodic.
All right, check your email box.
You will receive an offer about that course and it's going to be a limited offer.
So, be there.
