So [Bb] much more than [F] this
Is what [C] it is
So [Bb] much more than [F] this
[C] My album is called Just the [Bb] Beginning.
The songs are about [F] things that have [C] happened to me
and kind of making movies, [Bb] you know, that kind of translate [F] the same feelings.
Every song is completely different, [Bb] actually.
Every song has [F] quite a different [C] sound.
I think it all works very well together.
[Bb] It has variation.
This is my first [C] album, hopefully the first of many.
[F] And we're hoping it's [E] just the first few steps of my journey.
[D] Advice I'd give to aspiring singers and ukulele players.
This is going to sound [G] absolutely horrible
and this is the only time this would [B] apply.
But don't focus on anything or [F] anyone but you.
For once.
[Bb] Because I think that you should really just
[C] enjoy what you're doing and focus on the [Bb] real reason on why you're doing it.
[F] Music is supposed to [C] be for you and your benefit.
And others too, [Bb] and just share it.
I think they should really keep that in mind.
[C] So I sang at Austin's Cities on the [Bb] Sand.
I sang almost [F] all [C] new songs there.
And it was really, really nerve [Bb]-wracking because I knew no one knew them.
But everyone really [C] liked them and it made me like
I got confidence [Bb] off of their confidence
and they got [F] confidence [C] off of my confidence.
And it was just like this mirror effect.
It was [Gb] amazing.
It was so fun.
I want to do it again.
When I got my first ukulele, I got it [F] with my [Dm] birthday money
because we had a friend [G] from Brazil stay at our house
and she played the ukulele.
I like the [D] ukulele because it's very, very simple
but then you could also take it and get really advanced at it.
So it could be [F] one of those instruments where you can just pick it up really quick
or one of those instruments you can practice every day [Bb] and master.
So these are [F] two [C] ukuleles.
They're both from the Fender California [Bb] Coast series.
This one is a [C] Zuma and this one is a Venice.
I [Bb] would definitely recommend [F] the Venice [Am] more for beginners
and if [Bb] you're just playing it for fun.
And then this [C] one, the Zuma, I think is a lot better for [Bb] performing.
It does have a [F] little bit better [C] of a sound
and it's a little more richer.
But I like [Bb] both very, very much.
