Song I'm going to play is called Ghost Riders in the Sky.
This is for training purposes only
I'm playing this
Using a capo on the second fret.
This is a homemade capo
basically made with some
toy wooden wheels a
bolt quarter-inch bolt put a plastic tubing in the middle and a
wing nut or some type of clamping device
And I use a cork on the inside to protect it from scratching the fingerboard
These are homemade capos.
I saw them for about five bucks a piece
Lot cheaper than the 15 18 20 dollars or more that you'll pay for a capo.
They're easy to make and
They work quite well
Joe Collins the national dulcimer champion is the one that introduced me to this particular style
He makes them with a larger wheel
I've made them with both the large wheel, but I found the small wheels work just as well
And I'm probably a little bit cheaper to make so
Ghost Riders in the Sky and a DAA tuning
using a six-string Charles Gamble cherry dulcimer and
This is an AB song and
Hope you enjoyed it training purposes only
Ghost Riders in the Sky.
