was because Eric suggested to me it would be this time of this year would be a good time if I wanted
to do a concert tour because he was not working and him and his band were available to become my
band and that was one reason why I thought about working was because Eric asked me and the reason
we came to Japan was because he likes Japan and he suggested that we come here that was the first
question oh and to convey to the fans really just whatever the meaning of the songs are if they have
some meaning for the fans of Japan but I've had a lot of letters and a mail over 25 years from
Japan very nice letters from the Japanese people and they seem to like well the ones who write to
me anyway seem to like my record so I just hope they like the live music as much as they like

Well they were chosen, can I speak English?
They were chosen by either the fact that they were a single, a big, you know maybe a hit record
or a single or that it had some kind of feeling that for me that it would be a good song to put
you know like the song Taxman it's a song that goes regardless of if it's the 60s 70s 80s 90s
there's always a tax man so the song seems to fit and just what I felt would be reminiscent also
like if I needed someone I sang on the Budokan 26 years ago maybe so might as well sing it on the
dome 26 years later and the rest were you know mainly singles or a selection from different
albums going right from 1965 till last year
yes yes it's very popular in Japan
