perfect [Gb] tonight [N] I guess so that's right not only record it she wrote it I did [D] I I was at I have a
studio over in Hermitage and I was there one morning by myself I kind of hit just drum the
guitar a little [Bm] bit picked it up and I said

yeah _ [Bm] _ I just started doing that on the [D] guitar and I said [Bb] uh started singing this song _ _ _ _ [E] _

I know _ [E] [C] but I started [Bb] I write it wrote this song and and I demoed it I had Lance Miller from
Nashville Star and he came [D] over I said asked Jimmy Melton I said who [G] is the closest [N] thing to
Gene Watson because I wanted it to present it [Fm] just like them you know we would be able to hear it
and [G] I did what and I took my husband [D] Herb who introduced us he produced this [Bb] album and I just
we were taking [Fm] the songs that had to all be cleared through him and I said [Eb] I've written this song and
[Db] he said we will not you will [Gm] not take this to Gene I will because he said I don't want you to tell him
that you wrote it and make him feel obligated [Gb] so he [Dm] he said I will take it to him and if he listens
[D] to it and he likes it then we'll do it [G] and he must have loved it I think it's [N] his favorite right

call me on the phone and he said Gene he said uh Rhonda wrote a song for this album he told you

in fact he [Fm] didn't like it because he thought it was [Bb] a written personally about him I [Gm] can
understand that I can understand this is 25 years we've been married 28
