We've been playing Fountain live for the first time in years with this band.
And I think even when Fountain first came out on the first album, we never played it
live that much.
I don't know why, because it's just a beautiful little song.
I think it's just almost perfect, you know.
It's really short.
It's got a beginning, a middle and an end.
So it's just like a little folk tale, a little story about a girl running up to the top of
a hill waiting for wind to come to blow her clothes off so someone would come and rescue her.
And it just sounds like an old-fashioned fairy tale to me.
And I just love it.
I really like the way that this band is playing it, which is why I wanted to do it today.
