But it's [Eb] strange how we, [F] who were made in His [Ab] image,
we [C] change a whole lot of stuff [Cm] all the time.
We change [F] friends, we change [Ab] houses, we change [Cm] cars,
we even change churches.
Whoa, strange the kind of things we change.
[Eb] You know when I was growing up as [D] a kid,
we used to [Ab] sing songs of [Cm] praise.
We used to [Eb] edify ourselves with the Word [D] of God
and [Ab] speak of how we would change [Cm] the world, you know,
make it a better [C] place.
We [Ab] don't speak of stuff like that no [Cm] more.
It's about [Eb] what God doesn't do [F] and what God should [Ab] be doing.
_ [Cm] You know the book of [Eb] Matthew chapter 6 verse [C] 33 says,
[F] Seek ye first the kingdom of [C] God and His [Eb] righteousness,
and [C] all these things shall be [Eb] added unto you.
[C] We seek the addition and the [Eb] things He wants to give,
[C] but we don't seek His [Eb] kingdom.
[Cm] And we wonder why we [Eb] live in chaos.
[C] Strange isn't it?

You know the [Cm] book of 1 Corinthians [Eb] chapter 13 [C] verse 1 says,
[Eb] Even if I speak with the [Cm] tongues of men and tongues of angels,
[C] and I have no love, [Ab] I am like a clanging [Cm] cymbal.
[Eb] I know a whole [F] lot of people who speak [Ab] tongues like Angel Gabriel.
[Cm] They ain't got no love.
Who [C] you fooling?
[Ab] Huh?

That's a [F] big one isn't [Cm] it?
The book of Hebrews chapter 11 verse 1 [F] says,
Now [Ab] faith is the substance [C] of things hoped [Cm] for,
the evidence of [F] things not seen.

Hmm.
[Cm] We live in [Eb] times where everybody [D] wants proof.
I [Ab] got faith.
I believe.
[Cm] I got a witness in my soul.
I just want to [F] make plans just in [Gm] case.
[Cm] In case of what?
[Eb] I mean take a [D] good look at Hebrews chapter [Ab] 11 verse 6.
[Cm] He says, Without [Eb] faith, somebody help me.
[F] It is impossible _ [Cm] to please God.
[Eb] Uh huh.
Uh [C] huh.
That's how it is.
[Ab] Ain't no shortcuts.
If [Cm] you need proof, read from [Eb] the book of Genesis all the [C] way down to Revelation.

Trust me, all [Cm] the proof you need is [Eb] right in there.

Now the bottom [Ab] line is, I know [C] times are changing,
[Eb] but you gotta be careful [F] what you throw [Ab] into the bucket of time.

So, [Cm] uh, don't [Eb] mess up your life because of the [F] times we live in.

You gotta [Cm] be watchful.
[Eb] And remember, [C] the weapons of [F] our warfare are [Cm] not carnal,
but mighty through [C] God for the pulling [Eb] down of [Cm] strongholds.
For [Eb] to be carnally minded [C] is death,
[Eb] but to be [Cm] spiritually minded [Eb] is life and [C] peace.
