Yeah, alright.
Hey, how's it going?
This is Bob from Music Store Live.
Today we are taking a look at the Eric Clapton Signature Model Stratocaster.
Comes in a few different colors.
This one's in Pewter.
It also comes in black, Olympic white, and Torino red.
This features an alder body.
It's got a maple neck with a soft V profile on it.
It's got a maple fretboard on this.
Black [Em] dot inlays.

We've got two pretty distinct features on this guitar.
We have an active mid boost and we have the TBX circuit, which is a treble bass expander.
So here on tone one, we've got the TBX circuit.
So that's the treble bass expander.
It's notched in the middle, you know, around number five or so.
So basically, you know, if you got it there in the middle, and then if you roll it more
towards the bass side of things, what you're going to do is you're going to increase the
sound of the bass.
[D]
And then, let's say you want to check out the treble side, roll it all the way the other
way, we'll hear a little bit more treble.

[Em]
[E] Yeah.
Okay, now moving on, we've got the active mid boost.
It kind of, you know, really pushed the mid range into more of like a humbucker kind of territory.
And it does a really good job of this.
So we'll just stick around with that same tune.
You can just take a listen.
You know, here it is on zero.
[F#] You can hear all the kind of single coil-y sound there.
[Em] [E] [G]
All right, now let's open her up and we'll do the mid boost.
[D#]
[E]
So you get that thicker kind of a humbucker sound happening there, which, you know, especially
at like really high volumes, you know, going into your, if you got the amp really cranked,
it really makes a big difference in terms of just like the actual [G] girth of the sound.
