[B] [D]
[B] Ok, [C] this is Fleetwood Mac's Feel Like Crying written by Danny [B] Kirwin.
It's in D and you
need to tune your guitar to an open D [D] chord to get that sound.
So your [B] E string needs
[Am] to be [D] a D, so tune your E down to that note, a [A] D.
Leave the A as it is, that's ok as it
[D] is.
That D note can stay [B] as it is.
[F#] Your G string, that needs to go down to an open D
down to an F sharp, so one semitone down.
[B]
On the B [A] string you need to drop that down
a full tone to an A.
[D] And on the E string you need to drop that down a full tone so it's
[Bm] a D.
[D] Ok, so you'll end up with that nice chord there.
Now the strumming pattern is this.
[C] So just a syncopated rhythm, dead [D] easy.
[B] And the chords that you need to play are this,
put your second finger on the second fret of the fifth string to get this note.
At the
same time, first finger, first fret on the [G] first string,
[Gm] that note, so [G] together those
two notes.
And [B] then you use a syncopated rhythm [D] to do this.
[B] Ok, so it does that, sings over
[C#m] it and then it does this first little lead [F#] lick.
[A]
[D] So that's on the fourth [B] string, fourth
fret to start with, slides up to the fifth fret, like [F#] this, [G] [F#]
[G] and then it hits [A] these two
notes.
[N]
So that's third string, third fret, using your first finger to [F#] get this.
[A]
[C#] And then
to finish that phrase off, starts at the same place, [F#] fourth string, fourth fret.
[E] [Bm] [D]
[F#] [Bm] [D]
[F#] [A] [D]
[G#m] So
with a bit of singing.
[D] She's got so much blues, best friend can't help her.
Her best friend's
a woman, how can a woman help her?
Woman's got the [A] blues.
[Bm] [F] [D]
[D#] So what I did there is I took
what I did [A] there was I went down to the seventh fret, put your first finger across all the
frets to make a bar, and then we have this rhythm.
[D] [A] [D]
[A] [B] So it's the same chord shape really
as up here that we just did, except [D] using different fingers.
[N] So on the ninth fret, [F#] fifth
string, you have that note, [B] and then on the eighth [D] fret on the third string, that [B] note,
using your second finger.
So third finger there, second [Bm] finger here.
So you've got those
two notes, [A] and then [D] [A]
[D] [A] the [B] riff to finish that off is, [D] [F]
[D] [A] [Bm]
[F] [E] [D]
so [B] the only tricky bit there really
is bending that note there.
[A] [Bm] [A#]
[E] [D]
Alright?
And then it repeats that first lead lick.
[E] [D]
[A] [D] [Bm]
[F] [D]
[G] [D]
[C] And then
the only different thing that it does after that is the finishing off riff.
It [D] just goes,
[G] [D]
[F#]
so what he's [D] doing there is the same rhythm, [G#m] and then
[G] [D] [G] [D]
[B] [F#]
[A] those three notes at the end.
[B] [C] [D]
But
at the [D#] same time letting the other notes ring out.
[D]
[G] [D]
So [A#] that's what Danny's playing [C#m] over the
song Feel Like Crying.
