simple as that gosh we've gotten such a wide variety of the Beatles from
Strawberry Fields we always mention Starry Fields because I feel like
Strawberry Fields and I am the Walrus are the two most off-the-wall ones that we have done to this point
they are the most off-the-wall but they are some just fantastic songs in the
repertoire I love adding another one no doubt let's check out some Oh Darling
let's get [B] it
[A]
[E]
[B] [F#m]
[D]
[Bm]
[G#] [Bm]
[E] [A]
[D] Oh [B] [A]
[E] Darling [A]
if [E] you leave me I [F#m]
will never make it [D]
alone
[Bm] Darling if [E] you leave [Bm] me I will never make it alone
Darling if [E] you leave [Bm] me [A] I will [D] [B] [A]
[D]
never make [F]
it alone
[A] I will never make it alone and [F#m] cry
[A] [B] I will [E] never [F] [E] make it alone
[B] [A] Oh Darling if [D#] [E] you leave [B] me I [F#m]
will never make [D] it alone
[B] Paul [F] McCartney
Oh Paul
Paul Paul Paul
He gave us a falsetto too
He gave us a falsetto too
Boy you was going you was going through it right here like you can't tell me this wasn't like personal
I felt yeah
The way that he's given that to you that was [N] personal
the scratch in his voice I don't think we've heard that much from Paul before
No I felt it it's listen to the Beatles are so cool right because his vocals were incredible but I think it's like knowing the magnitude of who you're listening to
you sit here and you listen to Ringo and you're like sometimes you feel like Ringo has some of the most distinct sounding drums
He's killing it in this one
and I'm like is it just because he's part of he is one of the best drummers because he's part of the Beatles or I just love listening to Ringo play
but then also the bass it's so thick it's so good and I'm sitting here and even though and Lennon with the backing vocals
and he's always somebody that we have drawn to most from the beginning was Lennon because we explored his individual career the most
but I'm telling you the more we dive into the Beatles I would have so been a McCartney girl like how many y'all fell in love with Paul McCartney
there's something about his voice his range his smile his personality his boyish looks I don't know what it is about
but Paul McCartney was like absolutely he reels you in I would have been here for Mr.
Paul McCartney
no doubt about it and you said you got to give you got to give George Harrison his props on the guitar
but wasn't that nice it's nice in this one
let's give everyone a little bit let's get back
[F#m] it's bluesy yeah no no no doesn't it feel like real old school soul yeah it gives me like that old school soul
let's get back
[D]
[A] [B]
[E] [Bm]
[E] [A]
[D] [A]
[D]
[F]
[G] [A]
[B]
[E]
[F] [E]
[A] Oh darling [E] please believe me
[G#m] [F#]
[C#m] Never let [D] you down [Bm] believe me [E] I'm telling you
[B]
[E] [A]
[D]
[A] Man
and like this is what makes him so great you're always in awe after you listen to a Beatles song
I guess I wasn't expecting a soulful bluesy Beatles [D] I wasn't expecting Paul McCartney to give us that rich raspiness
and that almost Barry Gibb like falsetto
the drums the bass the one of my favorites the piano that was in this man like I'm thinking back on all the Beatles songs
and this one's up there I really like the flow to something this easy something you can vibe with I rock that one
yeah so it's hard to pick a favorite Beatles track I think it's near impossible [N] but I'm gonna tell you the bass line and the vocals in this might be my favorite bass and vocals from a Beatles song
I could be forgetting one and this one's so fresh in my mind and I'm kind of just like awestruck and completely shocked by it
but this so far at this point killer bass
I like the bluesiness the end
yeah man Paul like his voice was
I didn't know he had that in him
I didn't and that's why I say like that might be my favorite vocal performance there so vocally talented but there's something about this that was just extra spicy
just the rawness there was to [D#] it
I'm telling you he hook, lock, secret got me on this [C] one
