Hey everybody, my name is Scott Reed.
I sing in a group called Faith First.
And just this last weekend we had the honor and the privilege to be part of the Los Angeles
City Fire Department, the memorial service that they hold every year.
They're at the beautiful
museum and memorial site for the fallen firefighters, fallen heroes, men and women who
gave their lives so that we could have safety.
We'd have someone to call when there's trouble
and know that someone will answer and be there.
What a blessing it was for us.
They asked us to
sing the national anthem and we've always wanted to sing the national anthem.
We can't think of a
better place to do that than for these families who have come to mourn and pay tribute to these
fallen heroes.
And so we want to take you up to the second floor and show you some footage of the
first time we ever rehearsed it actually in this beautiful museum.
And the acoustics were really
great and we got to practice it and get ready for the performance.
And we'll show you a little
bit of the performance as well.
But I sure hope you enjoyed.
It was a blessing to us and again
we're Faith First.

Whose broad stripes [Ebm] and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so [Abm] gallantly [Eb] streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting [E] in air,
Gave proof [Eb] through the night that our flag was still [F] there.
Oh say does that star -spangled banner yet wave,
