Start Jamming...
I'm a resident DJ here in Berghain.
I like to play long sets, like six and more hours.
In the beginning I play more electronic, afterwards house, and then techno, and so many kinds
of electronic music.
When I play the last set, from six until the end, the people are in a special mood.
They work with you, and you can play what you like, and it's so much fun.
It's really cool.
I like to play long sets, yeah.
[N] The Berghain is for me a really comfortable and honest place.
The booking is a really good mixture of fresh artists and the big names.
Yeah, that's my playground.
The Berghain is a club-in-club system.
Upstairs you have the Panorama Bar.
It's a bit smaller.
Downstairs you have Berghain.
Everybody is equal in the club.
You have a good sound system, the Function One.
It's really private.
Yeah, no pictures on the internet.
We have the Pioneer CDJ-1000 here at the Berghain.
My favorite CD player.
It's really easy to handle it.
You have [A] a reverse function and a loop function.
You can combine something.
You can put a loop on another track, and you can play it reverse.
It's really fun.
Yeah, I like to play more CDs, because you can play some special edits from friends.
I make myself some edits just for DJing.
Some rare tracks I like to record, and then I put it on CD and play it from CD.
Because it's safer to have it at home.
My intention for the Berghain 2 mix CD was to combine some new, old tracks.
Some [N] tracks from friends, like Norman Notch, Tobias, Muli Kempi.
There's a Substance remix.
I see it like a business card.
It's like a business card to say that's my style of techno electronic music.
There's a new record on Beat Street Records.
It's a small label here in Berlin.
There's one track from P-Gone and from myself.
A new remix for D-Tron is coming out.
Motor Selector, for Scuba, for Loco Dice.
Still I search for a challenge, like in different countries, different cities, different clubs, different DJs.
Sometimes I have meetings with some friends at my place.
We watch some new stuff, remixes, new tracks, and then we talk about it.
Then it's good to know
