This is a song called _ Schoolin'.

as a sort of hip-hop kind of _ loop that I was playing with, [F] and I really liked the bass line a lot.
So we tried to work a song around it _ early on in the band and never really got anywhere.
And then a bit later on, I wrote something else.
It was kind of strings and sort of _ tribalistic drums.
_ [D] _ And I [E] realized that this bit could go on the end, although it was a bit slower.
So we wrestled with it for a while.
And then Alex started playing a kind of very minimal sort of math rock style _ _ riff over the top, which wasn't something we really thought of.
And [D] that seemed to make the magic moment happen.
And we knew it was going to work and went from there.
