[D] Every Psalm releases a new Psalm-based song each Wednesday.
We started at Psalm 1 and Lord willing will end at Psalm 150.
You can subscribe and have these songs delivered to your inbox each week for free.
We started Every Psalm because we know we need God's Word, and we need it desperately.
Our goal in [Bm] this project is to help people [D] engage with the scriptures in all seasons
and circumstances of life.
When we dwell on the truths that live vibrantly in the Psalms, we find rest.
We are fueled with encouragement and our faith is increased for the impossible.
Before our twins were born, we decided to make an alphabet of scriptures, both to teach
our children the letters, but more importantly, to teach them God's Word.
So we picked out a verse that started with each letter and made up these two big banners.
I had no idea how influential both the process and the result would be.
Now our living room wall declares the gospel and [G] helps us remember to [D] live it, day in and day out.
We hope Every Psalm is doing a similar thing.
With music as our banner, we can meditate on God's Word anywhere.
Whether we're driving to work or cooking or playing with our kids, we can let melody
aid in memory and also allow beauty and sound to deliver the scriptures to our [G] hearts and minds.
[D]
The Psalms give words to our lives.
They walk [G] us through hardships [D] and lead us into praise.
We would love it if you joined us on this journey as we sing the Psalms again.
