[G] [F#]
I play [G] [F#]
the [N] ESP LTD V1005 SE multiscale.
[F#] In Vimik we have a lot of different [G#] lower tunings.
We use a lot of F sharp tunings for H [Em] string standard, G sharp [D] tunings and A sharp [F#] tunings,
which is why I [E] actually play the multiscale as well.
I can [D] tune this thing down to F sharp
and it still holds pretty well.
[F#]
The neck is awesome.
It's a five-piece Wenge
Bubinga.
And a lot of guys just like Wenge because it gives you more of the mid-range
punch that me as a bass player, I not only desire, but for the low tunings that we use,
it's kind of a necessity.
And the swamp ash body, I prefer the way swamp ash sounds.
And
then they put this gorgeous rosewood top on here.
[G]
[F#] [G#] [F#]
This is a very large fretboard, 400mm
radius fretboard radius.
On the low string here, which I have tuned to F [C#] sharp, [F#] it's
37 inches from bridge to nut.
And on the high G string, it's 34.
So it's pretty massive,
but it's a necessity for me to be able to have the distinction in clarity [D] and tone for
tuning as low as we do.
[F#]
[N] [F#]
[N] This guitar will be [F#] used for four or five songs on the record
[B] because I [C#] use this for all of our F sharp tune stuff, but I also [A#] use it for all of the
B standard stuff on the record as well.
I use this bass, I use the F415, the F5E, the
[F#] F4E, and [N] ESP Surveyor 5-string.

[G] We do have some heavy hitters in the band.
[F#] Our guitar
player Jed Simon, who is in Strap Young Lad, he also [Gm] uses ESP.
And it's just really [C#] awesome
and comforting to know that ESP will [F] always be there to back us up no matter what.
