This is a guitar that I did with Dick Boak at Martin a few years ago.
We did a signature [F] Martin guitar.
[A] [Bm] We were trying to do something a little bit different aesthetically
as far as having the planets from the solar system for [Em] fret markers
and the [D] angel and [A] some of the kind of [D]
blue purfling and stuff.
Kind of more of a lively, kind of colorful kind of thing.
It's basically [Em] a quadruple O size, which just means a little thinner body [F#m]
[Em] with a cutaway.
I think they did a limited run of these and it was [E] kind of just refining.
[A] [D]
[G] [E] [A]
[F#] [A]
We worked on it for quite a while.
Dick Boak had a lot to do with this.
He really helped me out to design it and stuff.
The idea was a little thinner body so it wouldn't have so much of that boomy bass.
Kind of get rid of [F#] some of that.
[C] Yeah.
[D]
[G] [Em]
[F#m] [C] [Em]
[B] [C] [G]
Yeah.
[E] This is the one that I actually have a pickup in and I use live and stuff.
It's kind of in some ways just like the old 30s style.
It's got a pretty wide neck so you've got a lot of space between the strings [C#] and stuff.
[D]
[Bm]
[B] [C] [D] [F#]
[E] [F#m]

[A] [E] [B]
This is a new thing that Paul Reed Smith [G] is doing now.
[Em] He basically has made kind of like a classical type steel string [Bm] guitar.
So it's like a [G] revolutionary kind of thing that's going on with it.
The bracing and everything.
It's cool because it responds like a classical but it [F] has steel strings.
[G] So [A] it's got nice projection [F] [Em] and [F] just a really inviting way of playing.
I'm really digging the guitar.
It's [E] really cool.
[F#m]
And they're just a new thing that he started.
It's getting ready to go out on the market [G] real soon.
[E] [Bm] [D]
[D#] It has a lot of power [E] to it.
For acoustics it's just amazingly loud.
