Chords for Ed Sheeran - Perfect - Ukulele Tutorial

Hey guys, my name is James Diaz and today I'm going to teach you how to play Perfect by Ed Sheeran on the ukulele.
You're going to need a capo on the first fret and let's get started.
The chords for the verses is going to be a G to an E minor [Fm] _ [Db] to a C [Eb] to a D. _
[Ab] Alright, so a G, E [Db] minor, C, [Eb] D.
And the chords for the pre-chorus are going to be similar but they're going to change slightly.
It's going to be a G to an [Db] E minor to a C to [F] a G and a D.
And then it's going to play a G, E minor, C, D.
So the first time you add the extra G, second time it's just normal.
And the chords for the chorus is going to be an E minor to a [Db] C to [Ab] a G and [Eb] a D.
And you just repeat that.
E minor, [Bbm] C, G, D.
E minor, C, G, D.
[N] And then there's like an instrumental after the chorus that goes back into the verse verse.
And it's going to be a G [Ab] _ to an [Fm] E minor [Eb] to a C, wait sorry, to a [Bbm] D.
G, E minor, D, C, [Eb] D.
And you go into the verse.
_ And the chords for the instrumental is [Abm] just going to be the verse chords.
It's going to be the G, E [Bb] minor, C, D.
[N] Alright, so what I'm going to do is I'm going to play the first verse, the pre-chorus, and the chorus
so you can see where all these chords go in the song or where they're placed.
And then I'll teach you a strumming pattern and a picking thing that you could use at the end of the [Ab] video.
Alright, so it starts with a G.

So that's basically where all the chords go in the song.
So I'll teach you a picking thing you could use and a basic strumming pattern you could use for this song.
Alright, so [Ab] the picking thing is you just play the song, the chords.
What you're going to do is the G, you're going to hit the top string, the G string.
And you're just going to hit all three strings at the same time, all bottom strings.
So the G string, _ _ [Bb] the C, _ _ _ E, and A string all at the same time.
So it's top string, _ _ _ _ _ then E minor, top [Fm] string.
It's just the same thing.
_ _ _ [Bbm] _ _ _ _
_ _ [Eb] _ _ _ [N] So that is the simple picking thing that you could do for this song and a basic strumming pattern you could use.
Because I changed it up if you want to because [B] it's ukulele kind of.
