Hello guys, this is Abel of Stole Music [C#m] and in today's lesson I'm going to teach you how to play
I Don't Care by Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber.
So here we go.
Give you a preview of what you're going to learn.
It's that super awesome catchy chorus section.
Go ahead [F#]
[B]
[C#] [A#m] [F#]
and just repeat it with extra stuff if you like.
[D#m]
[B]
[C#] [F#]
Okay, play around with it.
It's pretty awesome.
[N] Okay, anyways.
So that's the
We're going to learn the melody and chords of it first because that's the foundation of the song.
From that you can add all these extra stuff afterwards.
So here we go.
Let's break it up into say four parts to learn it so it's easier.
So here we go.
First part starts on the F sharp here, right above middle C here.
[F#] So two F sharps.
Up to C sharp, C [C#] sharp, C sharp, C sharp, [A#] C sharp, A sharp, [C#] A sharp, G [F#] sharp, G sharp, F sharp.
[C#m] C sharp, C [A#] sharp, C sharp, A sharp, A sharp.
Okay, that's it for the first part.
One more time.
[F#] It goes like this.
One more time.
So it goes F sharp, F sharp, [C#m] C sharp, C sharp,
C sharp, C sharp, [A#m] C sharp, A sharp, A [E] sharp, G [F#] sharp, G sharp, F sharp.
C sharp, [A#] C sharp, C sharp, A sharp, A [C] sharp.
That's [E] it for the right hand.
Okay, once you get that, left hand we have two chords.
Two F sharp major [F#] chords which is
fully backbone chord.
F sharp, A sharp, C sharp.
So two of these chords.
Okay, very simple.
Okay, so with these two chords in mind, two hands [E] together goes like this.
So right hand starts off with the [F#] first three notes.
Next, C sharp and F sharp major together.
F sharp and F sharp major together.
Like that.
That's the first part.
One more time.
It goes like this.
Moving on to the second part.
Right hand [B] continues.
It goes [E] two G [F#] sharps,
F sharp, and then four F sharps.
One, two, three, four, A sharp, A sharp, F sharp, F sharp, F sharp,
A sharp, A sharp, F sharp, A sharp, [F#] G sharp, F sharp.
That's it for the second part with the
right hand.
One more time.
[C#] So it goes two G sharps, [F#] F sharp, F sharp, F sharp, F sharp, F sharp,
A sharp, A sharp, F sharp, F sharp, F sharp, A sharp, A sharp, F sharp, A [Fm] sharp, G [F#m] sharp, F sharp.
That's it for the right hand.
Once [E] you get that left hand, two D sharp minor chords.
So [D#m] fully
backbone chord again.
D sharp, F sharp, A sharp.
So with these two D sharp minor chords in mind,
two hands [C#] together goes like this.
So right hand starts.
F sharp and [D#m] D sharp minor together.
[F#]
Next, F sharp and D sharp minor together.
Like that.
One more [D] time.
It goes like this.
[D#m] Let's go.
That's [F#] it for the second part.
So back to back the two parts we've learned so far.
We'll be playing like this.
Check it out.
Moving on to the third part.
Right hand continues.
It [A#] goes [E] A sharp, B, [C#] C sharp, A sharp, B, C [A#] sharp,
E sharp, G sharp, [C#m] up to C sharp, [A#m] C sharp, C sharp, A sharp, A sharp.
Okay, that's it for the third part.
One more time.
It goes A sharp, B, C sharp, A sharp, B, C sharp, [C#] A sharp, G sharp, up to C sharp, C [A#] sharp, C sharp, A sharp, A sharp.
That's it for the right hand.
Left hand, two [B] chords.
Two chords of B major, which is B, D sharp, F sharp,
[C#] and C sharp major, which is C sharp, F, G sharp.
[B] So [C#] with these two chords in mind, [E] two hands together, it goes like this.
[B] So B major starts off.
Right hand continues.
[Bm] Up to G sharp, C [C#] sharp major by itself.
Right hand goes [A#m] like that.
One [B] more time.
It goes like this.
[C#] [A#m]
Like that.
Okay, back to back.
The three parts we've learned so far.
We'll be [F#] playing like this.
Check it out.
[B]
[C#] [A#m]
Moving on to the fourth and last part.
Right hand continues.
It goes [C#] to G sharp, [F#] F sharp, up to C [E] [B] sharp,
That's it for [D] the right hand.
For the fourth part, one more time.
It goes like this.
It goes G [F#] sharp, G sharp, F sharp, up to C sharp, C sharp, C [A#] sharp, A sharp, A sharp, G sharp, G [F#m] sharp, F sharp.
That's it for [Bm] the right hand.
Once you get that, [F#] left hand we have two F sharp major chords.
So F sharp, A sharp, C sharp.
So the same two chords as the first part.
Okay?
[D] With that in mind, two hands together, it goes like this.
Right hand starts with [G#m] the first two notes.
F sharp and F [F#] sharp major together.
[B] F [F#] sharp and F sharp major together.
Like that.
One more [E] time.
It goes like this.
[F#] That's it for the fourth and last part.
So back to back.
All four parts will be playing like this.
Check it out.
[B] [C#]
[F#] Okay?
So yeah, [N] you repeat that and once you get it every single time very correct, consistently,
then you can start adding all the improvisations and decoration patterns to it to make it more awesome.
Okay?
Left hand you can do [F#] like octave, arpeggio patterns, rhythmic patterns.
And right hand you can
harmonize the bass of the chords underneath [Bm] the melody.
Okay?
So you can do something like this
[D] to give you a [A] play through [F#] of what you can do.
So you're going to
[D#m]
[B]
[C#] [F#]
[D#m]
[B]
[C#] [F#]
[C#] [F#]
play around with it.
Okay, very awesome.
[Em] Okay, that's pretty much it.
