[Ab] What up, fam?
[N] I do that all the time, don't I, when I start talking?
Oh, okay, so this lesson right here,
first let's say a word of prayer.
God, we thank you and we praise you.
And we hope that everything in this lesson goes well.
Please allow it to be expedient.
Let us gain the knowledge that we need quickly
so that we can move on and conquer something else.
All right.
And amen.
[Eb] Cool.
[Db] Strange [Ab] prayer.
So [N] anyway, moving on.
In this [Ab] video, me and [N] Vincent was just sitting here rapping
kind of about what this video should be about.
And one thing that I've kind of learned,
and I'm not perfect at it
because I don't have perfect pitch.
I'm not perfect at it, but I've learned how to kind of [Ab] play
and [Fm] like, if somebody relatively sings in another key,
I can move to that key.
[Ab] So like say, if they're like,
but [Eb] girl, [Ab] if I'm playing [Db] just another [Eb] day,
I know that I'm at E flat or so.
So [Ab] that's [N] a good way,
trying to remember like relatively where you're at is cool.
Cause then you don't have to do like,
well, until I die.
You don't have to be like, [E]
you [N] don't have to do that.
You know how the church sings,
she used to be like, until I die.
Used to be doing that.
So honestly, you have to keep a conscious mind
about where you're going.
So let's [Ab] see.
So first you have to kind of,
so Vincent is going to hit some keys
and I'm going to tell y'all where he's at.
[Fm] I'm not looking.
F, he's in F.
[G] [F]
Yeah.
F.
[N]
So that's the type of stuff you have to be able to do.
And that helps you float in a service so much better.
So an easy way, let's learn an easy way to do it.
[Ab] So if I'm in A flat,
and [N] if Vincent plays something in the A flat scale,
or like say somebody sings something
and they start off in the A flat scale,
your ears should be able to know like where they're at.
So I'm going to play in A flat
and Vincent is going to hit a note in another key,
but he's going to stay in the A flat scale.
So we know in the A flat scale, we [Ab] have these notes.
A flat, [Bb] B flat, [C] C, [Db] C sharp, [Ebm] E flat,
[F]
F, [G] [Ab] G and A flat.
So if you just in the middle of something
and somebody is [Db] walking up to the podium,
[Fm] you know how like in [Gm] apostolic churches,
they start walking up to the [F] podium
and you know they about to sing [Gb] something random,
but [Ab] you're just playing soft music.
[Db]
So Vincent is going to play a [Eb] key now.
[Ab]
[Eb]
[F] [Eb]
So now we're in A flat.
[Ab] So let's do it again.
We're back in A flat.
[Bbm] [Ab]
[Gm] [G]
So [Gb] you have to.
[Db] [Gb]
[Ab] [Db] [Ab] [Ebm]
[Dm] [Fm] [Gb]
[Eb] [Db] [Gb]
[Ab] [Db] [Gb]
[Ab] [Db] [Ab] [Gb]
[Ebm] [Fm] [Bbm]
[Ab] [Db]
[Gb] [Bbm]
[N] I do that all the time, don't I, when I start talking?
Oh, okay, so this lesson right here,

you [N] don't have to do that.

but [Ab] you're just playing soft music.
[Db]
So Vincent is going to play a [Eb] key now.
[Ab]
[Eb]
[F] [Eb]
So now we're in A flat.
[Ab] So let's do it again.
We're back in A flat.
[Bbm] [Ab]
[Gm] [G]
So [Gb] you have to.
[Db] [Gb]
