So my reason I made this channel is so that I can document all the progress I'm making whilst I'm out here in Hawaii.
And a major part of that is to document all the new skills, techniques and songs that I'm learning on the old ukulele here.
From my lessons and from just being out and jamming with the Hawaiians.
And just from being here playing and investigating myself, because that's what I'm here to do.
So I'm going to make a series of these kind of videos where I'm just going to sit down in front of the camera, no flashy editing.
No, I'm not even going to use a fancy mic or an interface or anything to record the uke here.
I'm just going to use the camera mic.
I'm just going to sit and play.
It's going to be very rough and ready.
I'm not going to strive for a perfect take or anything.
I'm just going to play a song through and if I get through it, that's going to be the take that you see here on the internet.
So today and probably over the next couple of days, depending on how I release these,
I've got three songs that I've learned whilst at Voice Akuma's ukulele studios.
They're all traditional Hawaiian songs that I've been learning.
And yeah, I'm just going to play the first one for you now.
