This is another one off the new album.
[N] It's one that was done years ago by a fellow up in Memphis on Sun Records.
This guy was rather dark and ominous.
He'd come out on stage and start to sing and a few minutes would go by
and a big old bead of sweat would form over on this temple and run down this side of his face.
A few minutes would go by and another bead of sweat would form over here and kind of tremble down this side of his face.
A big old vein would pop out on various sides of his face.
I had the good fortune of meeting him about a year ago.
I'll tell you it was quite an experience along with Buck Owens and other folks that are of a limited number in this business.
There aren't many that are legends that are alive but he's certainly one.
It was scary just kind of standing there against the wall hearing him talk to me.
