_ _ Hey, my [E] friends, _ I want to read [D] a couple of encouraging scriptures to you today [G] from Psalm 32, verse 7.
It says, you are my hiding place, you shall preserve me from trouble, you shall surround me with songs of deliverance.
Psalm 46, this should encourage you today.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.
Though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its [Bm] swelling,
there is a river whose streams make glad the city of God.
And that's where our help is going to come from, in God's presence.
[F#] Okay, everything that can be shaken is being shaken right now.
[Bm] But God's word is going to stand forever.
We have his word and let's put our trust in his word today.
So Lord, [F#] we choose to do that in spite of everything that's being shaken.
We run to you, our refuge, our [G] shelter, our very present help in time of trouble.
_ Thank you, Lord, for touching my friends, encouraging them today.
I take authority over the [E] fear.
[A] Don't be afraid.
God is with you.
[B] God hasn't forgotten you.
And he's there for you right now.
