And then in gymnasium at age 15 we met Aaron.
We all were session musicians like later on and in 2008 we [F] started Dirty Loops as a way
to have a project where nobody could tell us what to [Cm] do and where we could try all our
ideas and express ourselves to the fullest.

_ [F] we choose a song to cover we usually think about [Em] the melody a lot.
[Ab] You know if it's very straight for example it's very easy to create something underneath,
something interesting.
And for me it's also important to get a vision of how to do the song.

[C] _ _ [G] The reason why we put up our first YouTube video was not because of any like marketing
strategy or something like that.
It was only because we wanted to have something available and accessible for bookers to get
a gig or two.
_ _ _ _ _ Signing a worldwide deal with Verve Universal has been a dream come true because it's the
best way to get our music out to a lot of people.
So yeah we're very happy about that and also to work along legends like David Foster and
our manager Andreas Karlsson.
So that's really cool also to collaborate with them and hear their inputs on our work
and everything like that.
So it's very cool.
Hit Me _ _ _ _ _ was the first song we wrote.
It was a regular pop song from the beginning that we [B] arranged two times before we finally
found what we were looking for.
It was kind of the breakthrough song for us regarding the arrangement style of our originals
and the perfect link [Cm] between the new and the old air loops. _ _ _ _
_ _ [F] _ Sign Our Love.
We got inspired from the Kill Bill movie when we flew from _ Tokyo to Shanghai. _ _
That's how we came up with the [Bm] whole concept.
_ _ [Gbm] Sexy Girls [D] _ _
_ _ _ started off with a club beat that we turned into _ a [Ab] Dirty Loops vibe arrangement
_ [Bm] with a big breakdown in the chorus.
Since it had this kind of club vibe we wanted to add some ironic lyrics to it and that ended
up with Sexy Girls.
_ _ _ _ _ _ [A] _
_ [E] _ [Bb] Wake Me Up.
[Gb] Yeah, why change a winning concept?
_ We did the covers before so obviously we had to put one in this album also. _
But with this one we kind of made it a little more artsy fartsy and also kind of country-ish
as the original. _ _
[Em] The concept of the song was to create a rich harmonic landscape.
[E] That style was different from anything we ever did before.
This song also kind of has a backwards journey [G] from the present Dirty Loops to the past Dirty
Loops in the end.

_ Every record needs a fire starter chorus so we did that Dirty Loops style.
This one's the track that will break your grandpa's stereo.

Accidentally In Love.
With this one we kind of wanted to go where we hadn't before so we mashed everything on this.
Like it's electronica, gospel, [C] Motown and like [F] it's all those things on steroids.
_ _ [Am] Every time you [G] play this there will be something new to your ears.

_ _ _ _ _ [G] Of _
_ [D] _ _ _ course there's a big difference of [Bm] playing live because you get so much from the [B] audience,
so much appreciation and energy and in the first place that was why we made this record
so we could come out and play [A] and now when we finally get to do that it's just [Bm] a blast. _ _ _ _
Right now we're preparing for the Loopify tour.
