[D]
So here is [E] a version of [Abm]
what I try and use.
I really like these whammy pedals, so that's [Dm] what's all this sort [Bb] of
[C]
[Dm]
I just like the octave whole thing on that.
Tremolo is this even tight.
I don't know why.
Sometimes I [Gb] have big pedals just doing a tiny little thing, like this whole thing I just
have for that octave shift.
You've got your [Ab] classic [D] memory sort of guy over here.
[Dm]
[N] [D]
Which is always nice.
Micro synth.
[F] [D]
[G] I've got this little lo-fi loop junkie pedal which is a Zvex.
[E] And I got this because funnily enough I was somewhere and I ran into Moby and he was saying
how he really liked this pedal because it's really lo-fi.
So nice one Moby.
[Gb]
[D]
I kind of just like
I have mostly just [Gm] a few [A] distortions and stuff and as you can tell I like backwardsy sounding [Gm] stuff.
Two guitars.
Okay.
This is the Silver Jet.
Because when I first ordered it I ordered the Sparkle Jet, presuming that Sparkle would be sparkles.
The Sparkle one is in fact silver and the silver one is [D] sparkly.
I play this a couple of tracks on the record that we just did and a couple of tracks when
we do our live show.
[Am] I use it with a blues driver.
It's just got a really [E] great [D] kind [F] of
[G]
[D] [Dm]
[E] [Dm] [D]
[Ab] These are the TV Jones.
[Dm] They're the more powerful versions of the Duo Jet ones.
They're like the deluxe Duo Jet ones.
[Ab]
[Am] So this is just without [E] anything on compared to the guitar [F] that we were just playing.
[G] [D]
[Dm]
[G] [D]
I never really [N] play this on anything other than the bass [E] pickup because it's that closest
thing you can get.
Stock Stratocaster I imagine is probably the closest thing you can get to that Hendrix-y
kind of bass [Eb] sound.
[B] [G]
[D] They get a lot [Gb] louder when you sand the front off.
I've actually just sanded not the sides off and that striping around there is just
Because you sanded it very [Bb] precisely.
That's not actually a piping [Gb] or anything.
I [Ab] like it because it looks like bone.
And then the last one I've got here is this
As you can tell I'm a very Fender-y kind of person.
Again I think that probably comes from my dad buying me a Mustang when I first started
and buying me or giving me a Strat.
And this thing is great.
I tend to use
Again it's a little bit quiet [E] compared to the Lay Senses.
Those things are just stupidly [D] loud.
That's why I like them.
You get a nice tremolo sound with this.
[Bm] [Em] [Bb] [D]
[Bm] [Bb]
[D] Now this is the [Am] one I do like to use the selector switch.
You can get a really raspy
Depending on how your [E] evening's going, if it's too bassy up there on [D] stage you can
It still [A] sounds good because you've got the double coil one, the [D] double pickup on this side.
[Bm] [F] [G]
[C] [G] [D]
This thing is amazing.
You can play a whole set and just bang it and it doesn't go out of tune.
It's [C] just really good.
[Am]
[G] I like the ability to [C] scrub audio as it goes.
So you [Bm] can
Yeah, so that's kind of more than running any sort of sample like Ableton or backing track.
Ableton's great and everything but I like to [G] have the chaos screens.
[Ab]
And [B] [G]
[Ab] then I'll have quite a lot of just live bits of audio and samples that I've used to
[G] sample from film.
[C] [Abm]
[B]
[Db] So you can [G] affect pitch and ping pong delay, reverbs, all manner of that sort of stuff.
So that's these, [B] these guys.
[G]
And obviously you've got to find a way of reloading them in the middle of songs, which
is kind of a cheat.
[Gb]
Right there.
[D]
