Hey guys, Darren Rampton here, and I've had some requests now for a tutorial for the Bruce
Worms B-Song, Show Goes On, which I posted a cover of a little while back on YouTube.
So a bit like the tutorial I did for my cover of Every Little Kiss, I'm going to try and
show you me playing some of the sections slowed down, and then what I'll do this time is
try to film each of my hands separately, really slowed down, playing the bits for each section.
So a lot of the song you probably realise is quite improvised, like Bruce Wormsby does
himself live, but what I'll do is I'll try and focus on the sections which are played
more as written, like the intro, some of the instrumental bits, and the solo.
So I'm just going to take a couple of parts probably for this.
So this first section then I will focus on the intro.
Ok, so here's the intro section, basically normal speed, just what it looks like from
a normal point of view.

section, and I'll play it slowed down.

Ok, so [N] we're going to focus on the left hand this time, and I should have mentioned that
just a second ago the right hand started on A5, which is two As above middle C.
The left
hand is going to start on A4, which is just above middle C here, which is pretty high
for a left hand part, but it soon moves down.
And I should have mentioned also the timing of the two hands together for this intro part,
you'll just have to listen to the song or to when I played it earlier again to try and
hear how the two mix together.
But it's reasonably straightforward.
So here's the left hand part of the intro then.
