As a little girl growing up, I've always dreamed of singing professionally, and it just so
happens that my dream did come true one day.
I did used to sing in the church choirs where my mom was a pianist, and never did I dream
in a million years that I would be involved with the Tri-City Singers.
As the rote manager, I have to take care of all the bookings.
[E] I make sure that the choir is in its place.
I take care of the hotels.
Basically it's just taking care of them.
I have to look at them as if they're my babies, even though there are members on there much
older than myself, including my mom.
But I basically have to tell them what to do and just kind of keep them in place.
They're a beautiful group of people to work with, and they've made my job easy.
Tri-City has really been a blessing in my life.
It has helped me very spiritually.
I just love the Bible studies that we have before each performance.
I know I have grown over the years that I've been with them so far because I feel so much stronger.
I'm very confident about myself.
When I go out to sing, I know what I'm actually singing about.
A lot of times when people see the Tri-City Singers, they see me and they see the choir
so [F] pulled up because I do like things really, really tight and really, [G] really intact.
But when it's time to have church, we really [F] do believe in doing [B] that.
And there's a song that says, praise Him [G] with a timbrel and a dance.
[Em] And when it's time to dance, [B] the choir will dance for you.
