[Fm] [Bb] [F]
[Eb] [Bb] [Fm] This guitar here folks is called [Eb] a Nashville high-strung guitar.
[Bb] [F]
What it is
basically is just like any other [N] guitar but it's strung differently.
You take the
a set of 12 string guitar strings, there's 12 of those, and you use, I don't
mean to [Fm] get technical, but and you just use the top ones, the little [Bb] ones, six of
them, [F] [Bb] and after carefully disposing of [Fm] the other six, [Eb] [Bb] [Fm] you string a guitar up
like this and it [Ebm] sounds [Bb] quite magical.
[F] [Fm]
[Eb] [Bb]
[Fm]
Isn't it lovely?
[F]
[Ebm] I've used this on
records a lot through the years.
You mix it in with [Eb] a bunch of other guitars and
it makes this real sparkling texture.
I used it on [Bb] Gambler.
[Ab] See
[Eb] that's what that sound was.
Cool, huh?
[F]
[Eb] But last winter I started [Abm] messing with it.
[Bb] I never really played
with my fingers before [F] and it's [Bb] really lovely.
So I was messing [Fm] around with it
and I came up with this tune, [Eb] [Bb] which again I didn't write.
I didn't [Ab] write this one.
This was written [G] by George Harrison of the Beatles.

[Bb] [F] [Cm] [N] You know John
and John Lennon and Paul McCartney got so much credit of course for being
songwriting geniuses, which they were certainly.
But George Harrison wrote some

[Bb]
Yeah.
And I was always a large [Ebm] fan of George's.
[Bb] [F] This is a song he
[Ab] wrote for the film Help.
