[Ab] [C] The Scream Tour, like [Bb] doing the [C] eight [Eb] shows [Bb]
where I'm playing just the [Cm] album Scream, I'm
[F] going to kind of [C] be bummed out when it's over.
Tomorrow [F] night's the last [Ab] show.
[C] [Gb] I think [Fm] maybe [Db] there's some type of a [Fm]
triumphant [Ab] feeling that you get from playing something
entirely new [G] to an audience [Fm] that [Ab] has been your audience for a long time, [Bb] and they're
[C] reacting and responding so well to it.
It's like, it's so [Bm] encouraging.
It's like the audience letting me know that [Ab] they're behind me, [Gm] supporting me in whatever
creative [Bb] thing that I want to do, even if it means coming out and doing something [Fm] so
different [Bb] [Cm] visually and musically, and they're not even [Db] familiar with it.
It also [Bb] oddly takes you back to [F] the early days of my career when [Cm] I pretty much had to
do that, go out on [Ab] stage and play music [Bb] that [Ab] most of the people in the room [G] didn't know,
and [F] have to get that over and [B] get that across [Ab] powerfully.
[G] I spent a lot of [C] years doing that, and it's an exciting feeling.
[B] It's different to go out and play songs, even [A] going off the map and playing [Ab] obscure songs
from older albums or [G] [B] [Bb] more obscure songs that some people in [Ab] the audience might not have
heard because they didn't buy that record, because I have [G] 15 albums now.
[Db]
It's still different [C] because [B] a [Bb] large [C] number of people in there are going to like it, [G] and
they're going to know it, and they're going to be [Ab] hardcore fans that will [F] sort of take
pride in being the only [Gm] ones in that group that actually [Ab]
really know all the words to
that song or whatever, but [Bb] it's a different thing than bringing out something [C] brand new,
[Gm] especially stylistically and getting such a [C] great response from it.
It's been [F] really exciting.
[G] Once the album's out, I won't [Bb] be able to duplicate it, so [Gb] hopefully I'll be able to do it some
more before the album's [E] released.
