[A] [Em] Hi, I'm Charisse and this is my music video shoot for my [N] song Pyramid.
We're
[Bm] here [Gb] now at the Orpheum Theater, [Db] of course with the director Scott [Gbm] Spear.
Hey, what's up guys?
This is Scott.
I'm the director for Charisse's [Db] video for Pyramid featuring Ayaz.
I bet you went [B] through Charisse.
[Gb] Right now we're standing [D] on the stage of the Orpheum Theater in downtown Los Angeles.
It's a [Bm] beautiful, old, fully [Gb] restored theater.
It was built, [Db] I believe, in the 1920s.
The idea was to do different scenes in different parts of the [Gb] theater.
We did scenes outside in the [Db] lobby with [Cm] Ayaz.
[F] We did scenes out on the street.
We did scenes [N] where Charisse was leaving the theater.
We shot in the seats.
We shot backstage.
We pretty much shot everywhere.
It's fun to go on stage, to do what I'm in.
[C] That's my mom.
That's my mom.
[F] [Bm]
The [Am] greatest [F] part of this video [C] shoot is the concept of the video.
We really wanted to show a different side of [G] Charisse.
Everyone knows her phenomenal success on YouTube and everything else.
We thought [Am] it would be great to show that before all that happened, she really struggled.
We base it off of one of the true stories of her past, [G] getting cut from a competition.
I made it in the grand finals, [C] but I [A] lost.
I [F] think this is going to be [C] just a little [G] emotional part.
I'm really excited [C] and nervous.
But [E] I know this is going to be so
[Bm]
[D] It feels just like [A] it's heaven, son.
Together at [E] the top.
Like a pyramid.
[Bm] [N] You just got to love it.
The video shoot, Charisse.
The honey scenes.
I'm about to go up next, do my thing.
Just bring it home.
Hot to feel.
You're supposed to follow my hand, cameraman.
Let's go.
Bring it home.
[Fm] [Cm] All this love is like a pyramid.
[Bb] We stand together to the [Eb] very end.
[Bb] There'll never be another love for sure.
[F] Ay, yeah, Charisse, let we go.
[D] I love Charisse, man.
This [Eb] song is crazy.
[E] I love her.
We love each [Ab] other.
It's all good.
[Gm] Yeah.
It's all good.
And she [Fm] promised she's going to take me to the Philippines.
[C] Yeah, I think so.
Yeah, okay, yeah.
[B] So if she doesn't I forgot.
[Dbm]
If she doesn't, we have a mutual [Bb] agreement.
I'm going to take her to the Virgin Islands.
[E] She's going to take me to [D] the Philippines.
You [Cm] heard it right here first.
[Eb]
goons
and [Bb] breakers.
Her games can [F] take her.
We [Cm] love Pyramid.
[Eb]
Here [Bb] it goes.
[F]
[Cm] [Eb]
[Bb] [F] Charisse. Charisse.
Like [Bb] a pyramid.
Yeah, cut.
Awesome.
[Eb] Like all [Bb] artists, Charisse really had to struggle to get noticed
and to gain respect and [A] to really do what she loves,
which is to sing and [Bm] practice her art.
Pyramid, [D] pyramid.
Pyramid, pyramid.
[A] Pyramid, pyramid.
[E] Pyramid.
Ladies and [N] gentlemen, that's a wrap.
Thank you, Charisse.
Thank you.
Wrap, wrap, yeah.
It's a wrap, it's a wrap, it's a wrap, yeah.
It's a wrap, it's a wrap, it's a wrap, yeah.
Come on.
