[Bb] Bonjour!
Bonjour!
[F] Oh, I missed [Bb] you!
How have you been?
Exactly!
Bonjour, c'est Calum Scott.
[D] Bonjour, c'est [Eb] Barbara Pravi.
I chose to collaborate with [Bb] Barbara
simply because she's an incredible artist.
I've had the pleasure of working with her before
and we did a duet for Tata Tata
and she just amazes me.
[Gm] She's got the most beautiful voice
and she's funny and gorgeous
[Ebm] and a pleasure to work with.
When we [F] did Tata Tata together,
he asked me to do [Gm] the French duet with him
and I'm very happy because we [Eb] laugh a lot
and it's a beautiful song,
he's a great artist,
[Gm] a great friend,
and I'm very happy.
[Bb] Thank you very much.
I don't understand.
It's okay.
[F] [Bb]
[F] The message of [G] this song is just,
it's a [Bb] message of love
and not [Eb] just the love that you feel for your [Ebm] partner
but for the love that you feel for your [Bb] family, friends,
just anybody who makes you want to get up
and live life and enjoy your life.
[Gm]
What was interesting was to [Eb] find another point of view
because [F] it's very hard to adapt English,
to make word [Bb]-for-word in English
because it always sounds a little bit in French,
it's a little bit tricky to make French sound as easily as English.
I worked with a boy named [Gm] Tomislav.
We changed the story a little bit,
we made a love story between a man and a [Eb] woman.
I'm the man, [F] he's the woman.
[Gm]
It was very interesting because we had to [Eb] find the right words
and [F] there's [Gm] poetry,
it brings our two universes together
because he has [Bb] a very precise universe and I have a precise one in French.
[Eb] So we had to be very precise [F] in the words.
[Bb] I think we did something very [F] beautiful, I'm very happy.
Yes.
[Bb] [Eb]
You, me, me.
Yes, you, me.
You, me, me.
Yes, perfect.
When [F]
we sang in [Bb] French the first time,
it took a little [Eb] while for me to get my head around it
but Barbara is very patient
[Gm] and she just stands and makes sure that I've got the right [Eb] syllables,
the right pronunciations of the [F] words.
So even though it's [Bb] taken quite a while to get sorted,
[F] I completely trust [Bb] Barbara with my French
and she's an incredible teacher so I've had a great time.
[Eb] He's very strong.
Honestly, I don't know many people who [Bb] pronounce so well and so quickly.
It's difficult to find the right words in a language you don't [C] know.
[Bb] [Gm]
[Eb] It's [F] an A.
[Bb] I took my eyes off the paper thinking I was all bougie and it didn't work.
My dream is not in my eyes, I'm [Gm] going back to
You know what, she's great, she's helped me the whole way through the session,
[Eb] she helped me last time.
[F] I know that if I want to sing in French, the first [Gm] person I'm going to go to is Babs.
Yeah, I'm always there.
I want to say [Eb] that I [F] remember the sounds [Gm] and the colours
Who [Eb] need all the money?
[F] Coming up [Bb] to the home, [F] yeah
Oh, cause I [Bb] need you to [Eb]
see
[Ebm] That you [Eb] are the reason
[F]
[Bb] You [Eb] are the reason
[F] [Gm]
[Eb] You know what, [F] it's amazing to sing in French.
It's amazing to take on that challenge and [Eb] to sing it in a different language, [C] in the country.
It's [Gm] nice, I'm always up for a challenge but it's respectful.
I [Eb] love France, I love the French people so I wanted to take the opportunity to at least [Bb] try and sing in French as well.
I just hope it's not too bad.
No, it's perfect.
I told you.
Thank you.
It's okay.
[Eb] I really met her, I'm very happy.
[Bb] I'm so lucky.
I'm so lucky too.
Oh, Barbara.
The luck is
