[A] What's up people, I'm Josh from [E] Buckcherry.
These are my tattoos.
[G#] [Am]
[E] [G#] [Am]
I was into tattoos when I was a kid, you know.
I always thought Indians looked cool with like war paint all over them.
And every time I saw like a biker with sleeves, I was like
I was just fascinated with it, even when I was a little boy.
Nobody in my [E] family was tattooed or anything, [D] so
I just knew it was something I wanted, you know, when I [E] got older.
[G#] [A] [E] My first [F#] tattoo was a big mistake.
[B] I got really hammered and went into [F#] Laguna Tattoo in Southern California.
I got [B] Betty Boop on my wrist.
You can kind of see it, but I got it covered up with like water and stuff.
That [E] was my first bad decision of a tattoo.
Then one time [F#] I was really tweaked [E] out on meth and alcohol.
[F#] And I got some dude who gave me [B] like this broken glass arm band tattoo on my arm.
[F#] That I got covered [B] up right here.
And then I started figuring out that I should probably get a good tattoo artist.
So then [G#m] I met up with Kevin Quinn, Quintessential Tattoo in Los Angeles.
And he's done the majority of my work.
[E] And as you can tell, [F#] he [A] kicks ass.
[G#m] He did my sleeves and this girl's face right here is a [B]
Sailor Jerry.
[E] I always wanted one of his pieces on me.
And the cool thing is I got this before [F#] I met my wife.
And [E] it looks almost [F#] exactly like my [B] wife, which is cool.
Even my daughter looks at [F#] it and says, that's [B] mommy's face, you know.
[D] So that's pretty cool.
On my back, it's the Suicide King of [N] Hearts.
[F#] It's the only king [G] in the deck with a knife through his head, [B] which is killer.
It's got a couple of [Em] my favorite words, love and desire on it.
[Gm] I was born and raised in Southern [C] California.
I got [D] L.A. Burning right here.
And you know, [F#] Black Panther, which is [G] epic.
And then I got all my kids' [B] names.
I have three kids.
I got my son is Jack.
He's on my [Em] neck.
And a little [G] kanji right here that [D]
represents king.
That's King Jack, my son.
[F#] And that's my daughter [B] Willow.
[D] My other daughter Sutherland.
[G] I have spent thousands on tattoos.
I've lost count a long time ago.
When I started getting my sleeves done, I was a struggling musician in Hollywood.
And I had met Kevin Quinn.
I wanted sleeves so bad.
So I would just take a portion of my paycheck out and I would [Em] pay him like every week.
And then once a month I'd go in there and [A] get [G] tattooed.
And he was so cool to me because he [D] knew how excited I [G] was to be [A] sleeved.
And so [G] he gave me the [D] bro rate [A] because [G] he [A] was doing [G] a lot of big celebrities at that time and stuff.
But he was really cool to me.
[D] And since then, we've just developed such a great relationship over the years.
And that's that.
