[E] There's a port [G#m] on [C#m] Western Bay and it serves a hundred ships [E] a day.
The lonely sailors [G#m] [C#m] pass the time away and talk about [E] their homes.
[A]
[E] There's a girl [G#m] [C#m] in a harbor town and she [A] works laying whiskey [E] down.
They said, Brandy, [G#m] fetch [C#m] another round.
She serves [A] them [E] whiskey and wine.
The sailor said, [C#m] Brandy, you're a [A] fine girl.
You're a fine girl.
What a [C#m] good wife [A] you've been.
Such a fine girl.
[E] Your eyes can see the [B] sailor from the [F#] sea.
[E] Brandy [G#m] wears [C#m] a braided chain made [A] of finest silver from the north of [B] Spain.
I like it.
[A] It [C#m] bears the name of the [A] man that [E] Brandy loves.
He came [G#m] on [C#m] a summer's day bringing [A] gifts from far [E] away.
But he made it [G#m] clear that [C#m] he could not stay.
[A] The harbor was [E] his home.
The sailor said, [C#m] Brandy, you're a [A] fine girl.
[C#m] You're a fine girl.
What a good wife [A] you've been.
Such a fine girl.
But my [E] love, my love and my [B] lady is a [F#] sailor.
[F#m] [C#m] Well, Brandy used [B] to watch his eyes as he [A] told his [B] sailor story.
[C#m] She could feel the ocean [B] fall and rise.
She [A] saw his raging [B] glory.
[C#m] But well, he always [D] told the truth.
Lord, he was an [A] honest man.
[E] Brandy does her [B] best to [F#] understand.
[E]
At night [G#m] when [C#m] the bars close down, [A] Brandy walks through silent [E] town.
She loves a [G#m] man who's [C#m] not around, but you still can hear [E] him say.
She hears him say, [C#m] Brandy, you're [A] a fine girl.
[A] You're a fine girl.
Such a fine girl.
[E] My love, my love and [B] my lady is [F#] a sailor.
Such a fine girl.
The sailor said, [C#m] Brandy, you're a fine girl.
You're a fine girl.
What a good wife [A] you've been.
Such a fine girl.
But my [E] love, my love and [B] my lady is [A] a sailor.
[E]
Oh, come on.
That's the one.

Never gonna give up.
Never gonna let you down.
Never gonna run around and hurt you.
Having not been booted off the Oregon Pavilion and successfully sharing the space with skateboarders,
we began the relatively short drive to L.A.
I haven't been to L.A. as an adult.
My last experience there was at Disneyland as an 11-year-old.
So I was surprised to discover that for being the second largest city in the United States,
it has a pretty easy skyline to miss.
Is that L.A.?
I think that's it.
Where's the Hollywood sign?
There on the wall somewhere.
Here in L.A., we were finally going to get to see some of the people we had been most
looking forward to seeing on this trip.
Of the many plans I had to cancel during the pandemic,
a lot of those were with these two folks, Raina Del Cid and Tony Lindgren.
[A] For all the shows that we never played and recordings we never made,
it was so nice to finally get to see them.
We had budgeted a couple of extra days and we were going to be staying with them
so that we could have some time, you know, just to hang out and catch up.
We went and saw a movie in a cemetery.
The cemetery was called Hollywood Forever, which just feels so appropriately L.A. to me.
And eventually we recorded [C] videos for all three of our YouTube channels.
I hate to be like this, but can we go [A] to the beach?
Oh, absolutely.
Mine was the last, and we decided we would chance a recording on the beach near Santa Monica Pier.
We trucked all our stuff out onto the beach, hoping that nothing got too sandy.
Shirley, there's a whale.
Right at the last minute before the sun went down below the horizon, we got a take.
Maybe 10 minutes from a light standpoint.
Is this take 3?
