What's it like being back together again, that's been great actually we I mean nearly two years now
Getting wheels in motion to get in the band back together and we did the tour in May and June well years ago
It's there two years ago.
I mean we did children in need this time last year
That was the first thing we properly did together, but you weren't announced as a band getting back together at that point No
That was a one-off thing and that led to the reunion the tour and then now the greatest hits which is out in a couple
Of weeks and then you're single so it's it's taken two years to get there, but it's been great
I heard it was you going to take that concert that kind of kick
We had I suppose ideas that maybe someday we might do something together
But it was certainly a kind of catalyst you know to go along to see those guys in action in Dublin and
Yeah, I can do a bit of that again.
So call of shame
Did you have to phone around all the guys?
Yeah, basically like finding an ex-girlfriend
Yeah, some funny calls all right were made but no you know all the guys were into the timing was just right really _
Did everyone say yeah, we want to do it yeah, everyone said yeah
But we just kind of had to wind down what we're doing at the time
I think what we're doing you're producing well you had shame was in a show.

We have spent eight years together we were working really hard all the time
It just became very intense of a pressurizing situation that we were all kind of ready for a break
We were ready to get away from it for a while
You know did you not speak to one another for a while and just give yourself some time I some of us some of us
Kind of talked, but as a band we hadn't met
Until Shane was on the games, which is oh yeah
Five years ago now.
Yeah, I was surprised for him wasn't it?
Which was it was nice it was nice for Shane, and he did so well he won didn't he yeah
He was very good was there animosity between you when you split
Not when we split
But it it happened over the over the year that we we took a break and then the break led to a break up basically
Because we were gonna get back together, but you know
I mean there was never any kind of you know deep problems with with the friendships within the barn kind of thing
But when you're in the public guy and like I say a highly pressurized situation like that
And then you come out of it because there wasn't an awful lot of communication going on between us
You know the press would kind of say things and invent things that you know you might be sitting at home and thinking
What's he saying that for so and so instead of just making a call and walking out yourself?
You know so there was a lot of a lot of rubbish talk basically
But what about the fans this time around because I must admit
I told a bunch of girls bunch of ladies that was I was seeing you guys this weekend and one of them
I'm seeing is Amanda just dissolved
She was just overcome by the fact that it was running Keating and boys own
And it was it was hilarious because they've grown up obviously they've got their own kids
They're kind of having proper jobs and living proper lives, but they still have that we've got a gaggle of girls outside
Has that not moved?

_ Tore the first five or six rows were you know familiar faces from ten years ago really?
But they've brought their kids along which is really weird.
Yeah, you know so we've all grown up and

I mean we've got off we're down the single is available on download today digital release
I mean we never did that for a moment.

It was really you know I've seen 18,000 people not all with mobile [G] phones

_ Is it better to be on stage with a band is it yeah?
I didn't realize how much I missed the louds until I got back with you know
Just a laughs we had the camaraderie on the road we we had our own little sense of humor
you know which we have still and
As soon as we got the band back together we slipped all back into that role again
And that the humor is just been unbelievable laughs constantly is good.
It is it's very funny
Is it better this time around you know yeah?
It certainly is you know?
You know maybe a little older a little wiser.

We have _ a better understanding of ourselves as the men we are today in the industry that we're into

Did you have to kind of get back into training for getting back?

We had to just get personal trainers beyond diet and just make sure that we were in the best shape that we possibly [Ab] could be

Think the demand continue I see new kids on the block
I mean, I think I guess it goes in cycles in the music industry and changes
And you know I think pop was so big in the 90s that you know the early well for the last eight nine years
It was rock bands and solo artists and so on and it changes and popped very much alive again
And well take that new kids on the block, but I think sugar babes.
They're all you know.
It's supposed to be happening again
I guess I don't know I mean
_ Yeah, it's a nostalgia in a way is you know people really like to hear that the hits that you know maybe they had a first

_ _ Does it mean it has a shelf life, or do you think you can carry on going for the next five?
I think it's down to the single and the music you know if you put out a good enough record look at take that
Yeah, I mean they're bigger and better now than they were the first time around yeah, because the music's right
And they've gotten it right [Ab] and I think we have with this single.
I hope we have we waited we waited for 12 months
