Hey, [C#] welcome to Balcony TV Kentucky.
I'm Ryan Sinclair and today I'm here with Boy Name Banjo.

[G] [D]
[G] [D]
Feeling pretty good [G] today.
Somehow everything's [D] looking fine.
[G] [D] I think it's fairly safe to [G] say my demons finally [D] forfeited the fight.
[G] [D] The last night I was a [G] hurricane nearly blew [D] myself away.
[B] [G] [D] But there's stone light shining through my [G] pain.
Captured in the [D] window frame.
Take it in like [G] oxygen.
[Bm]
[A] One step closer [G] to the truth.
[Bm]
[A] I got nothing [G] else to lose.
[D] I feel good today.
Step [G] outside into the pouring rain.
Close [D] my eyes and lose [A] everything.
It's got me down.
[D] I feel fine for now.
No more [G] crying and no more shouting.
Gonna leave [D] my worry and all my [A] doubt.
Some day it's help, [D] help [G] myself.
[D] Gonna help [G] myself.
[D]
[G] [D]
[G] [D] Well, I called up my old friend [G] Hugh.
We lost touch [D] after high school.
[G] [D] But we picked right up where we left [G] off.
For all the [D] darker stuff.
We talked all [G] afternoon.
[Bm]
[A] One step closer [G] to the truth.
[Bm]
[A] I got nothing [G] left to lose.
[D] Cause I feel good today.
Step [G] outside into the pouring rain.

Sounds great.
[N] Can you tell us about that song?
Yeah, I started working on that song about January of this year.
It was a time when I felt like I was in a creative rut.
As a group, we were at a standstill.
We didn't have a booking agent.
We didn't have a bass player.
I took that verse and that chorus over to William.
We powered through it.
It was the first song I'd written in a while.
I like the idea of helping myself.
2017 is almost over.
What are some of your highlights of the year?
We just got finished opening for the infamous String Dusters.
We opened for Amanda Shires in August, which was cool.
We picked up Ford back in February, which was the best part of the year.
We signed with William Morris, which is a talent agency.
We're super pumped about them.
What's coming up for you guys?
More touring?
You can expect some more touring in 2018.
We're really focusing on getting an album put together.
Hopefully by the end of this year, we'll know which songs we're going to cut.
We'll start looking for a producer and maybe a record label.
We're trying to release an album next year.
Where can we find you online?
We're everywhere.
Facebook, Instagram, Spotify, iTunes, all that good stuff.
I'm sure this will be on YouTube.
Thank you all.
Thanks for having us.
Thank you for watching Balcony TV Kentucky.
