This morning we're previewing Maple Valley, showing what this entire community has to
offer at the beautiful Lake Wilderness.
And we've got a special guest this morning.
One of the stars of Maple Valley, you may or may not know this, but it's Benicio Bryan.
He's a 13 year old musician. _
You took second place on the Voice Kids in Germany, right?
Huge deal.
What was that like for you to go all the way?
Just tell us about how many people competed and the fact that you took second place.
So 15,000 people competed _ in the start and then as the rounds progressed, more and more
kept going down.
So eventually for the last round there was three people left and then the [N] people in Germany
voted for who won.
Just like in the U.S.
Yeah, just like in the U.S. Same thing.
And I think the experience was so cool.
It was just like, it was really cool to be in a different country, you know, alone and
experience the culture and everything.
But to be on the Voice Kids was just like, it was so crazy.
You're getting discovered.
You're going into eighth grade.
You're not even in high school yet.
You're singing with Brady Carlisle and stuff.
And you got your own music.
Would you play something for us?
Yeah, definitely.
Of course.
That's why I brought my guitar.

And eventually we ended up talking for a while and they, [A#] I _ auditioned over Skype like for the last time.
And they were just like, well, come to Germany.

So much talent.

Yeah.
And do you have a goal?
What do you want to do ultimately?
_ I just want to play music for the world.
This is just like, it's [E] been not really like, [N] it hasn't really been a hobby.
It's just been something like a passion that I really want to pursue.
And I think that I just want to keep doing this for everybody.
It's a part of you, you know, that comes from some better place.
I love it.
