[Bbm] [Dm] [F]
[Bbm] If you guys didn't know, [A] we're here back, we're doing the Sumerian tour, number 2,
with [F] the Pond & Burning Buddy and Ida Breather, [A] sick band, it's going to be a great tour.
We've changed the setlist up, [F] we've got some new tracks, and we've really stepped up the
live show, [A] it's going to be better.
[F] [A]
[F] [A]
[Bb] [E] So, [A] basically, we [Db] arrived in November [A] for the Discovery tour, it was our very first
tour as a signed band, and it was [Dm] really great because we were super nervous, and [E] we felt
really [Am] welcomed by the Sumerian [E] family.
Born For Service shared their house with us, so we can have [Dm] sleep and practice.
Structures shared a [D] lot of their gear with us, we really felt like we were in a new family
in the US and that was a really great feeling. Vegas, baby!
Yeah!
[E] We are really excited to play in LA, this city has been [A] such a dream for us for so many
times, we are just crying, arriving in [E] LA, this is something crazy for us, and we are
playing in this super [N] famous venue, Whiskey Agogo, it's like a legend, so many amazing
bands playing there, it's like a dream come true for us, it's really great.
We're pretty stoked to get back to Texas too with the Pond & Burning Buddy, it's their
home country, their home state.
[Eb] I'm pretty sure the crowd is going to be crazy, you got that too.
Yeah, it's going to get [C] wild.
[F]
[Dm] [B]
[C] [A]
[Dm] [B] [Am] We would love to go in the studio at the end of [Bb] this year to make sure to release a [E] new
album in the [A] beginning of 2013, but [E] we still have a couple of tours, we are [Dm] really proud
of our album, Breathing Life, and we want [Em] to share this with as many people as possible
all over the world, so [F] we still have another European tour just [Bb] after this one, the Vale
of Maya, [A] Structures, Volume and Viljarta, this tour is going to be amazing as well.
Then we have a French [C] show, and then [E] we play the Hellfest as well in [Bb] France, which is going
to be [Db] huge, we are playing main stage, [F] we are super happy about it, and [A] then we are
coming back to the US for the whole summer.
And [Ab] we are playing the New England [F] Metal Fest, and this tour is going to be insane.
[Am] Yeah, totally, [Gb] we just don't want to get off the road for the rest of the year, we want
to get into the studio, but apart from that we just want to stay on the road and [F] keep
playing for you guys.
Physically, it's mostly [Gb]
[Ab] the guitarist, Baptiste, Lucas, Valentin [Am] and me [Dm] writing the music.
We like to [E] get a basis, and then everyone will send it to each other, [F] and everyone will
keep putting their input in, and we just [E] keep going, keep going, building it up until
we are completely happy with it, it's perfect, [E] everyone's got their [A] inspirations.
Yeah, and [Bb] then Aaron is writing [Am] lyrics as well, and so when the lyrics are right, when
we [A] find the theme, we meet each other [Dm] to [A] try to find the best vocal [Gm] lines.
The best drums [Am] and stuff.
Yeah, the best drums [Dm] and [Db] [E] [C]
[E] [Dm]
[A] [C] [A] stuff.
Sometimes I'll just sit [Gb] down, I'll sit down alone and I'll [G] just get my book or my laptop
and I'll just keep writing, not in [Gb] a rhythm, I'll just write, write, write, write, [C] and
then afterwards me and Victor will meet and try and block [D] it up, get all the syllables
[Cm] in lines with the rhythms and everything, and [Gb] if it's not working we'll try [Bb] and change
the line and everything.
Yeah, [E] so talking about metal, I'll definitely say Summary In this Band, [Dm] I've been listening
to [A] Bonifazari's Band of Maya for years, and [E] this is something that really [Dm] influenced me
a lot [C] for writing, but I'm [A] really influenced by tons of different music, like [Bb] not metal,
and I'm [Am] playing piano so I'm listening to a lot of classical and jazz [A] music, and this
has influenced me a [Am] lot for everything that I'm writing as well.
[A] Baptiste and Lucas are [E] listening to a lot of indie rock stuff and everything, so [B] it's
also helping a lot to write.
I think the key is just that we are listening [D] to a lot of different music, we try not [G] to
get just stuck in metal.
[F] Yeah, [Bb] I'm listening to a lot of rap music, a [A] lot of subtecusive music.
It's really helping for the flow.
[Dm] Right, so yeah, [E] just make sure you keep [G] checking us out, you know, try and keep us on the road.
We're going to try and get out to every [Am] city, every country that we can, so please come
out to the show, [A] meet us and say hello, and also just keep [B] listening to us and [D] we're going
to try and get this album out pretty fast so you can hear our new [N] stuff and it'll really
help you out.
Thank you.
