couple of things about my friend Bobby Bland.
To me, _
there is no better singer _ _
that sing any kind of song than Bobby Bland.
And to me when he sing a song like many of the _
great entertainers,
if you want to record that tune,
you got to find another way to do it, because if you try to sing it as he does,
you will never sell it.
_ _ Bobby Bland is one-of-a-kind and we've been friends since 1949, and I guess
if we intend to stay friends, I'd better cut this off shortly. _ _

_ _ _ it's a great honor to be able to welcome my friend, and
the guy that don't like to fly unless he's coming where I am, and
then he cussed me out when he get here, you know, after flying.
_ In fact, the only time
_ that I can think of that he didn't cuss me out,
we flew over to England to be with me to do a set over there.
