Chords for Bass Guitar Lesson: 2 Minor Pentatonic Grooves

_ Today, we're just gonna be going over two [B] grooves
_ Just just some cool grooves you can use.
I just want to give you another couple of things that you can
_ [Gb]
Use and just use wherever you want to use them.
This is will be in the key of G minor or B flat major.
So

There we go, all right, so um, the first groove is gonna be this right [G] here

_ _ So all this is is just a _ play on the [F] G minor pentatonic scale.
So we're just doing this right here
[G] so G and [F] then in the octave and then
_ the _ F right here that
_ Third fret of [C] the D [G] string so _ [F] and [Cm] then we're gonna do this right [Fm] here

[Bb] _ _ [B] _ _ But you probably heard that before.
It's just a little lick to make it a little bit funkier.

_ [Bb] _ There's octaves but what I'm doing instead of hitting the actual note I'm just doing is a ghost note so

_ _ _ _ _ _ _
Like a muted note up for the octave
_ And I'm doing this with [Bb] my left hand
But I'm just kind of like not that I'm not playing it all the way and just kind of playing it kind of like that

_ [C] _ That's how you get that sound
_ [F] _
_ [B] _ _ _ _ All right, so that's the first group next group is this right [G] here

_ [Bb] So that [Dbm] B flat a G and then C C sharp D _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Then do this again [A] _ [G] and _ then _
_ _ _ This is just [F] like what we did on that last group that [G] _ that
_ [F] F2g octave [G] deal

_ _ [E] _ [D] _ _ _ [Db] the first [B] part second part [A] same thing

[Bb] You're _ gonna stop right there on that a

[D] and you're gonna

You know [N] your pentatonic positions, this is just like the second pentatonic position after the this basically is after the the major the _
Major position which is right here
_ It's gonna be the next one up
_ And I'm just doing like kind of halfway [Dm] through it.

[G] _ _ _ I go back in
