[Bm] Yo, what's up YouTube is your boy Travis Dyches
Today, we're just gonna be going over two [B] grooves
Just just some cool grooves you can use.
I just want to give you another couple of things that you can
[Gb]
Use and just use wherever you want to use them.
This is will be in the key of G minor or B flat major.
So
[E]
There we go, all right, so um, the first groove is gonna be this right [G] here
[Fm]
[C]
[F] [C] [Bb] [C]
[Bb] [F]
[G] [Fm] [C] [Eb]
[B] All right
So all this is is just a play on the [F] G minor pentatonic scale.
So we're just doing this right here
[G] so G and [F] then in the octave and then
the F right here that
Third fret of [C] the D [G] string so [F] and [Cm] then we're gonna do this right [Fm] here
[C]
[Bb] [B] But you probably heard that before.
It's just a little lick to make it a little bit funkier.
[F] So
[C] So I'm doing
[G] [C] Okay
[B] [F]
[G] [Cm] [G] [Bb] [B] [Bb]
[B] [F] [G] [C]
[G] [Bb] [B] So
Okay, so and this is just like a little blues [F] note [C] [Bb] so
[B] [G]
[F] [C] So
[Bb] [B] [G] [F] [C]
I'm just doing
[G] [Bb] [B] [G]
[F] [Em] [B] [C] [Gm]
[B] [G] So [F] that's [G] further [F] [G]
and then you do [B]
[C] so this is on the a string so we just got B flat B C
So now [F] [G]
[Bb] [B] [C] [F] [G]
[Fm] just do that
[G] And [F]
[C] [Db]
[C]
[N] then I'm gonna do a video on this but like [G] those ghost notes that I'm doing [F] I
Just do like it
So I'm just doing okay
[G] See, [F] [G]
I'm always muted [F] one and then
[G] And then it hammers on right there
[F] [C]
[N] It's almost like you're about to do [Fm] but you're not
[G]
[B] So [Bb]
this is a cool technique so all I'm doing is just doing [C] a
[Bb] There's octaves but what I'm doing instead of hitting the actual note I'm just doing is a ghost note so
[B] [Am] [Bb] [N]
Like a muted note up for the octave
And I'm doing this with [Bb] my left hand
But I'm just kind of like not that I'm not playing it all the way and just kind of playing it kind of like that
[Bm]
[C] That's how you get that sound
[F]
[B] All right, so that's the first group next group is this right [G] here
[Gm]
[C] [D] [G]
[Gm] [C] [Bb]
[A] [F] [Gm]
[C] [D] [E] [D]
[G]
[D] [C] [D]
[G] [C] [D]
[Bb] [C]
Ah
All right, [Gm]
[C] [Bb] [N]
so that's all it is all I'm doing is just messing around with the minor 9 arpeggio
All right, so I'm just doing this right here [G] so [Bb] that's [A] a B flat [G] a G so
[Bb] So that [Dbm] B flat a G and then C C sharp D
[C] [Bb] So
Then do this again [A] [G] and then
This is just [F] like what we did on that last group that [G] that
[F] F2g octave [G] deal
[C] That's
[E] [D] [Db] the first [B] part second part [A] same thing
[G] [Db]
[Bb] You're gonna stop right there on that a
[A]
[D] and you're gonna
[Gm] If
You know [N] your pentatonic positions, this is just like the second pentatonic position after the this basically is after the the major the
Major position which is right here
It's gonna be the next one up
And I'm just doing like kind of halfway [Dm] through it.
So
[C] [Bb] [Gm] so [F] [D] it's
[C] [Bb] And
[G] I go back in
[Bb]
[G] [E] [D] Anyways,
[Bb] [E]
[Gm] [Dm]
[C] [Bb] [G] [Dm] [C]
[Bb] [G] that's it
groups just sound like
[C] [Dm]
[C] [G] [Dbm]
[Bb] [C] [G]
[D] [Am] [Gm] [C]
[D] [Gm]
[Ab] All right, so if you have any questions feel free to leave a comment below and if you like these videos go ahead and [Bb] subscribe
I've got more videos to come.
I [Gm] just want to give you [G] guys something to [A] to
[C] To use this week.
And [G] yes, let me know how you like it.
Hope to see y'all next week

[G] [C] Okay
[B] [F]
[G] [Cm] [G] [Bb] [B] [Bb]
[B] [F] [G] [C]
[G] [Bb] [B] So
Okay, so and this is just like a little blues [F] note [C] [Bb] so
[B] [G]
[F] [C] So
[Bb] [B] [G] [F] [C]
I'm just doing
[G] [Bb] [B] [G]
[F] [Em] [B] [C] [Gm]
[B] [G] So [F] that's [G] further [F] [G]

[Bb] [B] [C] [F] [G]

[Bm]
[C] That's how you get that sound
[F]
[B] All right, so that's the first group next group is this right [G] here
[Gm]
[C] [D] [G]
[Gm] [C] [Bb]
[A] [F] [Gm]
[C] [D] [E] [D]
[G]
[D] [C] [D]
[G] [C] [D]
[Bb] [C]
Ah
All right, [Gm]
[C] [Bb] [N]
so that's all it is all I'm doing is just messing around with the minor 9 arpeggio
All right, so I'm just doing this right here [G] so [Bb] that's [A] a B flat [G] a G so

[Gm] [Dm]
[C] [Bb] [G] [Dm] [C]
[Bb] [G] that's it
groups just sound like
[C] [Dm]
[C] [G] [Dbm]
[Bb] [C] [G]
[D] [Am] [Gm] [C]
[D] [Gm]
