What's up [Em] guys, my name is Cal and today I'm going to be teaching you how to play Bitch
Don't Kill My Vibe by Kendrick Lamar on guitar.
I'll be showing you all the different parts.
This is very helpful if you have [E] a loop pedal because you can play them all at once, technically.
But if you don't, no worries, it still sounds great and it's a real fun song to [G] play.
So without further ado, let's get right into it.
Okay, so [Cm] first up we have this.
[C#]
That was [B] basically just a first finger barring down all the strings on the 8th fret, starting
from the A [Cm] string.
And then you have your 3rd [G] finger on the 10th fret D string.
And you [Fm] strum that once, very slowly, so your pick's kind [Cm] of falling on each of the strings.
And then you do an up pick on the B and the E, a little bit of the G there too.
So then [E] you go down to [C#] this, which is basically just a, we got like a [C#] power chord starting
from the 4th fret A string.
Take your pinky [B] off, add your 2nd finger to the 5th fret G, and then your pinky [Dm] comes
back in on [G#] the 6th fret [F] B.
[C#]
And then the next part for that is, [C#m] you're basically just hitting a slide [Gm] up to the 8th
fret, [Fm] and then back to the 6th.
So all together we [Cm] [C#]
have
[D#] [Fm] [C#]
[G#] That's the main riff of the [F#] song.
The bass line is slightly different.
You go to the 1st [F] fret on the E, and this is simultaneous with [C#] the other riff.
So as soon [B] as the other riff starts, this riff starts.
[F]
[G#m] 1, 4, [F] [G#] [C] 3 on the A, [C#] 4 on the [F] A.
[G#]
[C#m] [C#] And then the rest of the riff does its thing.
[Fm]
[C#] [B]
[G#] And that [B] is playing throughout the entire song.
And then if you wanted, you could also add this little high part, which starts on the 11th fret.
11th fret on the high E, [G#m] sort of a [B]
[A#] hammer-on, excuse me, to the 9th fret [D#] high E, [G#] then to
the 8th fret high [B] E.
[Em] [Cm] You can kind of bend, give [G#] the last note [G] a little bit of vibrato, because it's very [Em] faint.
So yeah, that's pretty much the entire song.
That just repeats throughout [E] the entire thing.
There's a violin solo that kind of translates to guitar, but I'm not going to cover it just
because it's fairly complicated, and [D#] you guys probably won't be able to play all of this
at the same time anyway.
[C] So if you guys enjoyed, let me know if you have any questions down below, [E] or other songs
you want to see me do, and I'll see you guys later.
