So this entire song follows one chord progression.
It's in C major.
There's literally four chords you've got to follow.
It's real simple.
For your verses, your right-hand chords are going to go as [C] follows. _ _

_ _ _ _ _ _
_ [G] Now for the chorus, the only way the chorus differs from that
is instead of playing those little extra notes,
[Am] you're just going to play [F] the chords straight,
and then when you get to this one,
you're going to keep hitting that
_ _ _ [C] before going back to that chord that I just showed you.
_ [N] With that in mind, your left hand is going to be playing [C] this. _ _ _
[A] _ _ _ _ [G] _ _
_ _ [F] _ _ _ _
[C] Putting together those two parts,
you should get something like this for your backing track.
_ _ _ _ [Am] _ _
_ [C] _ _ _ _ [F] _
_ _ _ That was your verse backing track.
Here's [D] your chorus backing [C] track.

_ _ _ [C] _ _ _
_ [F] _ _ _ [C] _ _
_ _ _ [A] Just a little bit of advice that I'd like to share with you.
When [F] I get to this chord,
I try to make those as sharp as I possibly can,
and I try to build them up, so a [C] crescendo,
before I go back into this chord.
I think it adds a nice feel to the [F] song.
So it'd be like_ _
_ [C] _ _ And you can almost make this a little quieter
just to kind of peak the volume right there, if that makes sense.
[N] But that's your backing track for the entire song.
Then Kid Cudi's vocal line from the chorus is going to go as follows.
_ [G] _ _ [C] _ _ [G] _
_ _ _ _ _ _
_ [F] _ [Dm] _ _ _ [G] _
_ _ [C] _ _ [G] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _

Putting that together with the left hand that we learned earlier,
you should get something like this.

Something to think about,
the vocal line follows a [N] violin line right underneath it,

what I just showed you can be used for that violin line.
