Sometimes
people do things that are bad because they want to do those things.
I know many people who are
still incarcerated because they simply made bad decisions, because they simply would rather go
sling dope than get an actual job, because they feel like that is the only option or that's the
option that's going to give them more cred with their homies.
Um so I love that this guy is talking
about these issues and also I have to point out that I absolutely love the fact that he has other
black people uh with him because if it was just him doing uh this song he would get- he would get
shit on and we know this.
Nothing that is coming out of this man's mouth so far is false um and I-
I just- I just love songs that just rip the band-aid off you know?

through a very narrow lens for you to make that claim about someone, about any uh group of people.

I think that there is a lot of ideas with people thinking the grass is greener on the other
side, you know?
So I am black, therefore uh it's better or easier for white people and I- and I
love how he brings both sides to the table uh to talk about serious issues.
