[D] Hi, I'm going to be doing the intro to Bon Jovi's Wanted Dinner [E] Live.
Now for this song, you're only going to be using your index finger, your middle finger,
and your ring finger.
And you're mainly only going to be using two positions while going up the first part of the intro.
So first, [A] you're going to do your first position, which is first finger on the first string
on the 13th fret, and then your middle finger on the third string of the 14th fret.
And you're going to be wanting to play 4-3-1-3.
[D] So, like that.
But when you do the first string, when you hit the first string, you're going to want
to be using your middle finger instead of your pick.
So you can go
And it just makes it quicker.
Next, that is your first position.
Now we're going to be going into the second position.
[G] Second position is [D] like, [G] they're both going to be on the same fret instead of one being
on a different one.
So, you're going to hit the same picking pattern, [D] but you're going to be on the 12th fret.
Next, you're going to move the second position up to the 10th fret.
[Dm]
And now [D] you're going to go back to the first position with your first finger on the [D] 8th
fret of [G#] the first string, and your middle finger on the third string of the 9th fret.
[D] And same picking pattern.
[Am] [D] Now you're going to go back to your second position like this, but on the 5th fret.
[A] Now you go back to your first position on the 3rd and 4th fret.
[G]
Now on the last part of this, you're going to want to hit the 3rd string on the 4th [B] fret
and go to the 2nd fret sliding like that.
And then after that, you just want to hit first string, first fret.
[Fm] [Em] So, you got this.
[D] [D]
[G] [Dm] [A] And you're going to want to do that whole part two times.
Next, you go into the second part.
What I find easier to do is you put your first finger on the 3rd string of the 2nd fret,
and have your third finger on the 2nd string of the 3rd fret.
And you [B] leave those there for now.
And you're going to be using your ring finger for this part.
So, first you got those two strings there, and you hit the 5th [A] string twice.
Just open.
And now you're going to bend it on [E] the 3rd [Am] fret the third time.
[F#] And now you're going to move down to the 4th string, and [D] just go open,
and then you're [F] going to bend it again like you did with the [D] 5th one, and open again.
And then after that, now comes the time when you put in these two fingers while they've been staying here.
You're going to want to hit the [E] first string once, the second string [D] twice,
and then keep hitting the strings once as you go up until you hit the 5th.
[E] [A]
And then you just repeat that part.
[Am]
[D]

And I was doing that, you could see that.
When I did it first, it was
[D] But then when you follow with the
Then you just have to hit it like that.
You don't have to hit the 5th fret twice, the 5th string twice.
Now after that, after you've [G] got that, you're going to move
Oh, and by the way, you do that part three times.
You're going to be doing some barre chords.
So you put your first finger on the 3rd fret [G#] and barre that whole fret.
Next, [N] you're going to put your middle finger on the 3rd string on the 4th fret,
your ring finger, 5th string, 5th fret, and your pinky right below that one.
And when you do this, you only want to hit the 3rd and up.
Or 3rd and down, I guess.
So [G] 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th.
[F#] Like that.
And then on the next one, you're just going to want [A] to slide it the same position
up to the first [A#] fret.
So just slide them [G] up two frets.
[E] [E] Like that.
[B] And then the last part of it is just a basic [D] D chord.
And once again, it's probably best if you only play the first few ones.
So a D chord, for those who don't know, it's just [A] 1st finger, 2nd fret, 3rd string,
middle finger, 1st string, 2nd fret, and 3rd finger, 2nd string, 3rd [A] fret.
So what you're going to want to do, [D] this is how it will sound like in all.

[G] Second position is [D] like, [G] they're both going to be on the same fret instead of one being
