[Bb] So something that people don't know about us, that is what we're going to answer right now.
Something that people don't know about me, [Cm] I don't go a lot of [Bb] places.
When we are home on the road, I love to stay home, drink coffee, wear my pajamas.
They say I'm a hermit.
She's a grandma.
I even have a cute grandma bike with a basket.
This is Courtney when she goes home.
She gets into her little hole and when it's time to go on the road, she's like
I better put the makeup on.
Close the curtains.
No, I'm kidding.
My turn.
When I was 17, [N] I did a Major League Baseball tryout.
Oh, I remember that.
And I did well.
And I did well.
Of course, I wasn't serious about it, but I wanted to do it because I'm a huge baseball fan.
Where did you do this? Cincinnati.
It was for the Reds, of all teams.
And it was a lot of fun.
I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
Okay, something people don't know about me.
Beat that.
I really don't have anything that cool.
Okay, on the bus, [Bb] at night, I lay in my bunk and I listen to Crime Junkie podcasts and
I get myself scared half the day.
She got that from me.
And the only reason that I actually do it is because I can't listen to them at home
because I get scared.
But when I'm on the bus, I know that I'm in a bunk room surrounded by people so I can
listen to them.
She got the Crime Junkie obsession from me.
I love anything crime, so that's what I'm probably doing.
I could solve.
If he got murdered, I could solve it.
So, she, we're not a singer.
I'd be a detective.
I can't imagine that.
I would be terrified for her to solve my case.
You wouldn't be here?
[G]
You'd be dead.
No one would ever know why, that's for sure.
I'm gonna see you, though.
Every time I look at the morning paper, they're on the very front page.
Hate and crime, another big scandal.
Who will [Em] it be [D] today?
[Am] [G] As the prices rise, morals decline, hope falls to an all [C]-time low.
We're in downtown Lakeland, [G] Florida and it is 82 degrees.
Somebody say, holiday.
I know my sins are covered by the blood of the righteous lamb.
I know that heaven is waiting in the space we [D] soon move in.
[G] I'm not shaking, for I'm not scared in this world of [C] pain and sin.
[G] I know by the signs that are given, [Em] I know the Lord will be.
[Eb] Alright, so we're gonna be sharing with you some of our fears.
Funny or mostly funny fears.
So my fear, I've always been terrified of clowns.
No joke, ever since I was a kid.
I hate them.
There's nothing funny about clowns and I hate them.
Spiders.
Don't [Bb] like spiders.
I don't have a lot of fears.
I try to come up with something.
But I used to have dreams about going to my wedding with my hair wet.
And it wasn't done yet.
So that's a fear, like going on stage with my hair stringing wet for my shower.
[Eb] Yes, I'm saved by mercy and love.
Cleansed by the power of precious blood.
Sweet salvation from up [B] above.
[Bb] Saved by mercy and love.
Saved by mercy and love.
[C]
[Eb] Yes, I'm saved by mercy and love.
Hey y'all, we [Bb] are in Pace, Florida today.
This is [B] the third concert of January for us, of the new year actually.
And normally we get to a concert venue around lunchtime, a little before lunchtime, around 11am.
So we have a calm morning on the bus because our evenings are absolutely crazy.
So we chill [Bb] and then usually in the afternoon I get the kids out or Emily, my nanny does.
And we go out and the kids ride [C] scooters.
[Gm] I run or [B] exercise in some way.
Mom and the other girls are actually out walking, I think around the front of the church right now.
So [Bb] anyway, we get out some energy and then we get to [B] work around 2 or 3 o'clock for soundcheck.
And then from there is dinner, catering, and [Bb] then we do concert get ready.
[Eb] So yeah, it's the same old, same old every [G] single day and we love every minute of it.
[Gm] [Eb]
Saved [F] by mercy [Bb] and love.
[B]
[E] I've got a [Gb] peace I've [B] never known.
Blessed by the [Gb] favour that [B] I've been shown.
[E] Brought by [Gb] Calvary's [Abm] perfect
[Ab] Lamb.
[E] Child [B] of the King [Gb] Harry.
[B] Somebody else is singing so we're good.
[Bb] Mom.
What did you do today?
We went up into the playground and played a while.
Then we ate and then we went to our concert [Abm] shows.
[Ebm] [E] [B]
[E] [Gb]
[A]
[E] It's a really busy schedule you have at home so just deal with it.
I had to figure that out the first one.
And also do your best to get them off and have lots of fun so they can burn that energy.
[B] And then when you get on the bus they don't feel like they're cooped [A] up.
So yeah, that's how we do it.
[E] [B] Saved by mercy [Dbm] and love.
[A] [B] [Ab] Hey guys, it's Phillip here.
We just finished soundcheck here in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
It's the end of the first week of 2020 for the Collinsworth Family Tour.
And it's been a great week.
Like I said, we just finished soundcheck.
Line checks with everybody.
Checked the microphones.
Checked the PA in the room.
Production, all the things like that.
Lighting video.
A lot of odds and ends that make the Collinsworth show work.
But I'm excited because my wife is due with our first child in just a couple of weeks.
So I've got one more week of tour.
And then after that, go home to wait for the little man to come.
So [Bb]
hopefully after I get home.
[C] [Eb] Yes, I'm saved by mercy and love.
Cleansed by the power of precious blood.
Sweet salvation from up [F] above.
Saved by mercy and love.
Saved by [Bb] mercy and love.
